New Season Of The Voice This one seems to me to have greater talent than any that came before it. |
Yes, this season has alot of talented singers. |
I think once auditions are over we will have more to talk about. |
Can't hardly wait for the Battle Rounds to start. |
I LOVE this show, and think the talent has been amazing this season and last season too. I really enjoyed Shakira as a coach, and am glad she will be back next season. Christina looks great, and I hope her attitude has improved as well. I do enjoy seeing the coaches fight over contestants, but yes, it's a great season. |
Love the show! This year shows a lot of promise with some very talented singers. Just wish the other coaches weren't so mean to Blake, it's for sure pick on Blake this season...lol. |
This is the first season I have watched the show and really like it! Glad there is a thread where we can make comments as the show progresses. |
This show has become my favorite. I didn't really "get it" the first season, but the last few seasons, once I understand their system, really made me not want to miss it. Their process of choosing teams, coaching, then eliminating is rather unique in vocal competition. I love the personalities of the coaches. I even gave up watching Dancing with the Stars which I used to enjoy, just to watch The Voice. |

Adam is really getting some of the best so far but it's just the beginning and we shall see. I really like all the coaches, it's a great show. With the very first show this season, I thought to myself ' how could there be any better than a couple that sang that night' and they do keep a coming. (smile) |
I was a bit disappointed with the group last night but that's just one impression, I wonder what yours is. I did finally like one and that is Michael who is 100% Irish and sings Latino. He and Christina will be a good pair. |
I was also disappointed. Now that the teams are all picked, it should get more entertaining. So far there are not many contestants that really stand out, but as we get to know them and they improve, favorites will emerge. |
I've only watched the first season, now this one. What a nice mix of great talent & music genre-way better than American Idol. Last night was the fifth episode where the judges were wearing the same clothes & I figured out why-this show must be heavily edited so we're not seeing the judging in the order in which it actually took place. It's edited so each night's show is balanced & interesting & always the best in the last slot. So how does the stealing part work? I don't think they had that the first year. |
To narrow the team down, coaches put two of their own team members against each other, and have to eliminate one. The other coaches are then able to steal that one, so it gives the contestant a second chance, and often a coach ends up with someone they were trying to get in the blind auditions. It is exciting because a coach may have a hard time deciding between 2, if they are both really good, and he knows another team can take one. Makes it interesting. |

Yeah Battle Rounds begin next week. Last night was just recap of who the judges have chosen. I will be so glad when the show finally goes live. As of right now it is all pre-taped until after the Battle Rounds are over. |
Last night remembering James Walker who sang 'I want love' and Donna Allen from the beginning of the show and hear them sing again was a delight.:thumbup: Now the fun begins and when they have input from their coaches they just get better and better. |
I do watch this show, the only one of it's type. Not too fond of reality shows, etc. But this one is entertaining and I really like seeing the origionals back together, I think they are great together especially this year, they seem to be having a lot of fun. I have to say though, I wish it wasn't 2 hours, 2 nights in a row. It's too much. Wish it was just one hour at a time. |
Tonight the fun begins with The Battle Rounds. Can't wait. According to this article, Adam has the best team, but not always the best strategies in eliminating and producing winners. Adam Levine can win 'The Voice' ... if he doesn't blow it in the battle rounds - TODAY.com It will be fun to see which coaches are able to "steal" contestants they missed out on in blind auditions. |

This is the first time I have watched the show. And, I admit I was flipping back and forth from Dancing with the Stars. Guess I am going to record one of them because I am officially hooked on this show. Such talent... amazing! |
