| Extra eye on my babies tonight! Dex and Fletch were outside and the bunny came out of the bushes. Both took off after it from opposite directions. There was a full head on collision. Dex is about 6.5lbs, Fletch is 2x that. Dex stopped running, turned circles for a sec and cried for a minute. I picked him up immediately. After a min I put him down to see if he was ok, or rush him to the vet. He ran off chasing the bunny again. He's been fine all night, but man that crash, it made MY head hurt. Poor little guy! He ate, drank, and is sleeping with me now.

| Poor boys! I hope they both will be okay. This is one of my fears about having my boys off leash outside, together. They go soooo fast!

| That must have scared you half to death! I'm so glad that Dex is doing okay now! I would think if there was something wrong, it would have showed up by now? He's one tough little guy!

| Hi! I've been so swamped at work today I was not able to login until just now. Yes, Dex is doing fine. Thankfully!!! I was nervous when I heard the hard hit and saw him turn circles and cry out for a minute or so. I never saw him do that before. I was thinking "OH NO!" I protect my dogs from so much, but not from each other, since they are such a bonded pair. It would be horrible irony if it were Fletch who ultimately took Dex down. Dex is my incredible growing & shrinking pup. He weighed in at the vets in Feb at a whooping 9lbs! Never would I have thought that. Last week he weighed in at my house at 6.4lbs. This dog fluctuates so much with the seasons. I wish Fletch would lose some weight, but he's just not. He still around 13.5lbs. You can see that Fletch could do some damage to Dex being double his size!
