| I'm so sorry to hear this - it really is devastating to have things like this happen. We've been through it too. Thankfully, I didn't lose my job, but my hubby got very sick, very quickly and uxpectedly. He went in for some pretty routine surgery in Dec. of 2003 and has not been able to work a day since. All of a sudden we were without his salary and our lifestyle was not budgeted on only one salary. He was without a paycheck for about a year before we were able to get things worked out. Like the poster who said she was forced to retire and as such, her retirement was greatly reduced, such was the same for my hubby. But things have worked out, as Villette said, when a door closes, another opens. Things are fine now, but now without changes and sacrifices. Keep up the hope, watch for those doors/windows opening and you will be fine. Hugs,

| I'm sure you are confused and worried right now, don't be too upset. Consider it a new beginning for the new year and keep a positive attitude that you'll both find jobs soon... Better jobs than you had !!
