I have always felt lucky and privileged that I was able to meet Gabby in person. She is such a sweet soul and loved being in the middle of things.

This picture is from the 2011 Houston show. She is the cutie in the back, with her friends in the front. See how she has her head up making sure she knows what is happening? And her adoring eyes followed Linda's every movement.

I really am exhausted. I thought I had posted here earlier, but had not. I let my dear sweet Gabby go this morning at 11:50 AM. She is now running free and can go to the bathroom wherever and whenever she wants. I hope Sunny D and Sammy were there to greet her and run with her.

I promise that the next time I sign in, I will post dog show happy pics for all of you.

Congrats to all of the winners and thank ALL of you for every contribution you made...you are a part of the YHR "village" and the reason that we are able to help pups like Gabby.

My heart is breaking. I'm so sorry Linda. I hardly knew Gabby but the photo Lisa posted gave a glimpse of the sweetness she radiates and the inseparable bond that was shared. I feel good knowing, that in your care, you gave her the best remaining years of her life. Rest in peace, dear Gabby.
