Discrimination against dogs!! Unbelievable!

As a black dog breeder, I was well aware of this bias, and to top it off, a large dog as well.

It is truly hard to know why really. Some ideas, the eyes particularly in my breed are a lovely deep brown, that does not show up well. Taking pictures of a black dog, be very patient to try to get some good shots.

Somehow a whole host of other factors might go on, hidden underneath our consciousness. The hounds of hell. The Hounds of the Baskerville. Black is associated with evil. Black dog is almost invisible at night. Black is a power color, that associated with a large dog.....caution.

While many many people have admired Magic, he literally can and does stop traffic when we walk, there is almost always a tinge of nervousness. How does he see? This was when he had his full hairfall and usually it was ponytailed up and off his face. He is beautifull but you can almost see their mind turning, but wow not sure I can trust him.

Anyhow some thoughts on this subject.
