Is Cinders afraid in this type of weather?

I don't know if it's fear. She doesn't shake and whine like other dogs I've had. What she does is jump up soon as she hears thunder, or heavy rain and bark at it- along with growling.
I really think she's trying to protect us from it! Her little thunder shirt doesn't help much either...LOL!

Bless her little heart, sounds like she is trying to protect you.

Yazmin doesn't seem to mind it at all. My biggest fear for her is that when it lighting and thundering, she wants to be on the porch to see where all the action's coming from. She doesn't want to get her feet wet though!

LOL! I take Cinders to the screen door to look out. She stops barking then, because she can't see where the noise is coming from. It's fun to watch her head moving- scanning the back yard, and to see her nose sniffing. She's really trying to find out where the noise is coming from!
