Donating YT 1000 Club Member | All this rain DOES have it's benefits! We have 4 Crepe Myrtles in our yard & they are just popping out the flowers this year.

| Gorgeous! Not much rain over here in the UK (not in Northumberland anyway!) and my seedlings are growing SO slowly |

| Beautiful! I regret that we didn't do anything with our lawn this year because we were expecting another dry year like the last few. We are like a tropical rainforest this year.

| Pretty! Your thread title made me start singing Luke Bryan songs! "Rain makes corn and corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my baby feel a little frisky ... blah blah blah... blah... blah... blah... Rain is a good thing!" (so I don't know the words really! LOL) I am SOOOOOOOOO sick of this weather.... REALLY REALLY REALLY DONE! Walk in my house last night. Fridge, microwave, bathroom mirrors, marble kitchen floor, wine cooler, windshields... all fogged up, condensation all over them! I'm afraid to slip on the floor. Its not super hot so I don't want the AC on... buts its so humid, I guess we need to put it on. Which means a nice $400 electric bill this month! My sheets feel damp when I get into bed, the clean folded towels have a musty smell to them. The blankets on the couch smell musty, the carpets... just the whole house! I have a dehumidifier downstairs, and I could put one upstairs, but it makes the house warm! Tomorrow starts the run of days in the 90s now with 100% humidity. Oh joy!!! LOL

| I was just reading in a newspaper about some of the temperatures in USA over the past few days I'm most definitely NOT a hot weather lover as it leaves me feeling SO drained and exhausted (and sticky - yuck!!!). It was quite heavy and humid today here in Northumberland and THAT was bad enough.....yet to a lot of folk around the world it would be classed as a cool day Perhaps I just have some eskimo blood in me |
