| YT 2000 Club Member | Day Two This first week of food choices will be a preparation week and a short week. Only four days, then Friday back to MRC for a Food Preparation Class. At this time I will purchase their recipe book. Until Friday, I have been given a list of foods in different categories that I am to choose my three daily meals. This "short" week I am NOT to weigh/measure food amounts. Yes, there are a large variety of carbohydrates on this list, but one of my favorite is not.....the wonderful Onion......green onions you may have, but not the big white juicy, caramelized ones that are better than cake/pie/gummy bears. I will miss you my onion, grieve your lose and move on. Besides choosing from the food item list, I am to drink 64 oz of water throughout the day. Believe or not, (no I do not work at Ripley's) I do not drink any colas or caffeine. I had to give that up years ago. So, I am at a good start on the water thing. Just another little tidbit of info....since I am being all honest, I don't drink alcohol.....at this time I don't know what their stand is on alcohol, never thought to ask. But, I will if anyone is interested. Another up front honest point....how did I put on so much weight? I know sometimes people look at others with "extra fluffiness" and think WHY. I of course have had years to ponder this and my answers are as follows: 1. I am a comfort eater. Stressed...I eat. Pain....I eat I know when I look at this on paper, it looks so simple......."so, you know your problem, now stop it". Wouldn't that be nice if with any problem we could just say, ok done and that would take care of it. But, we are not robots (thank God) and have many human factors thrown into the equation of what makes us who we are. I am so glad God made me who I am, I just need to "D-Fluff" myself some to become a healthier me. Any who, Day two....ready or not here I come, armed with the info, prayer and support from family and friends.......Seize the Day! May you and yours have a Blessed one.

| YT 2000 Club Member | Forgot to add: MRC's goal for me a 72 lb wt loss by 12/14/13 = a 142 lb healthier ME! This is in the contract I signed. They asked my goal wt when I went in, I stated 140 - 145 ..... So this worked for me. This works out to be around 3 lbs a week.

| I am so anxious to follow your progress...it may just give me the incentive I need to loose a few. I have plenty to spare...lol.

| YT Addict | Keep your positive attitude and you will do great. I'm not familiar with MRC, please share what you're eating and what exercise you're doing while on this program. I'm in the same boat as you. I lost about 35 pounds last year do to illness, unfortunately I've gained it all back, plus some. I'm so mad at myself. I've recently started walking again and eating healthy but the scale doesn't seem to be budging. Grrrrr... Good Luck!

| YT 2000 Club Member | Day Three I kind of feel like Bob in the movie "What about Bob". Baby Steps, Baby Steps. Today I will share with you the days menu as I decide upon it. Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs (cooked in Pam). (Olive oil is also on the list) 2 40 calorie wheat bread toasted (only the 40 calorie bread made the list) 1 apple You could add a vegetable to breakfast if one wanted, like green pepper or green onions with your eggs, but I didn't. Oh, and so far water, water and water.....which I like any who. So far, this has been extremely easy....... but come on this is only the beginning of day three and no weigh in yet. However, I have always been a "half of the cup full" kinda of a girl so I am looking forward to my progress. Feeling full and satisfied. Will update later. Blessings to you and yours.

| Too bad ice cream didn't make the cut...but I kind of figured it wouldn't. The rest sounds very doable, but I'd be craving ice cream the first evening...that's almost always my go to snack!!! Anyway, sounds like you are doing a great job following the rules thus far...I'll be here to cheer you on your adventure. I'm going to try drinking more water, I do not drink coffee or any soda pop...so I'm almost there, just milk, juice and water for me.

Good for you on drinking more water. It truly will give you fuller feeling and it IS good for you. I also put all the foods down in note book on my smart phone for each food category so when I am out shopping I will stay with this list and not buy anything else. DH has agreed to fend for himself until I get control/understanding of this diet, he is good like that. Thank you Lord for DH.
