I started playing on my ipad today and its a lot better than on the iPhone. Now I just need lives... How many lives do you get for .99?

You will need friends to send you tickets throughout the game so you would be better off my just asking your friends that play Candy Crush to send them to you. If you already have lots of friends then it is possible that some of them play Candy Crush. You can send me a request too if you need another friend.

Me too. I refuse to pay for lives or levels. As you play, make sure you are connected to Facebook. On the left of the screen, it will show you how well your Facebook friends did on that level. I use that info on who is playing to send requests to friends for lives and tickets. I know so many people that play, it usually takes me less than an hour to collect 3 tickets for the next level, even at 3am.

I play on my iPad and you can only have 5 lives at a time, so if you log in and have a full 5 lives and a message with life offers don't use them until you need them.

I cheat.

On my iPhone, I go to settings>general>date & time>set automatically OFF...then set the time 4 hours ahead for a new set of lives. Then I just turn "set automatically" back on when I'm done. It's worked up to level 125

You will get stuck on a level for ages then fly by a few levels then get stuck again for ages, cc likes to lull you in to a false sense of being able to beat it.
I don't really get how people can get cheats or walkthroughs from utube though cos each time you replay a level the screen is different, am I just being very dim?

I have and never will pay for any games...I ask my friends to help. I am on level 23 I think and am having a time of it right now. I haven't downloaded it to my iPhone..only do it on my Mac.

I finally downloaded CC last night. I got stuck at lvl14, then I beat it this AM and now on 17, then I had to get to work--one hour late!

I play on the iPad at night before I go to bed. Puts me to sleep pretty fast LOL

I play Happy Street which is a pointless but super cute game and I was ALWAYS getting ads for CC so I decided why not? Esp since I saw this thread here on YT.

Now I gotta go check out Zuma and Pet Rescue. I usually play the hidden object games from Big Fish but they are just demos. But they are usually pretty fun.

Oh I wanted to add. The way they draw the candies and they sound they make when the clack together reminds me of something but I can't put my finger on it!! Like some exact type of candy my grandma used to give us at Christmas time or something. It's bugged me all last night since I started playing and I even had dreams about it!

Just noticed something. I use my iPad all the time but only just got an iPhone this week, the lives accumulate at a different rate so although mostly synced, if I run out of lives on one device I may have lives on the other, if I beat a level on one device and go to the other I may still be on the previous level but I will beat it in one go. Don't know if that makes sense, it is almost midnight here and a few beers taken....
