Bracing for Storms
 
We were lucky yesterday as the storms missed us yesterday. However lot of Oklahoma and Arkansas are right in the heart of the threat today. Between 6 pm to 12 am for me. :(. We have tornado threat during that time. Oklahoma and Kansas had tornadoes yesterday. They are saying Oklahoma was hit hard. :(. Praying all are safe. This time of year is so scary. I'm sure others are in this threat as well. Sending prayers that all stay safe.

Poor Karen, YorkieUSA, she had tornadoes on both sides of her last night. I hope her part of Kansas isn't on the watch list again today. They are still cleaning up from the golf ball size hail they had recently. Or was it baseball size? It was bad.

I heard places had baseball size. Scary. Bless her heart. I know that is very scary!

Praying for everyone that was in the path of the tornado in Oklahoma...my goodness it is just devastating what they are showing on CNN.

Is everyone safe that was near it? It was just devastating in Moore, OK. What a terrible tragedy for those people.

We have a good chance of being in the path later tonight and tomorrow.

No, but we'll likely headed for somewhere with a basement if tornadoes start up near here tomorrow. People are saying this Moore storm today is the worst of all destruction they have ever seen from a tornado so don't want to mess around with this storm system. We are supposed to get some cooler air tonight I think so some local forecasters are thinking that could diminish our chances of supercells tomorrow, even though something called the "cap" will leave us tonight. We are watching it right now on the news. Two schools hit and a hospital if I heard correctly. They think it was an F4. :(. Lots of destruction.

Boy, they need to build some underground shelters there to at least get the gets into. This is awful.

They are reporting a tornado on the ground to the West of Gainesville, Texas, pretty far north of us. Pray for those in its path.

Possibly 200 mph winds in that F4! I cannot even imagine. Our highest was 90 mph here and that scared the heck out of me.

I think it happened quickly. Many schools have shelters but I think time was an issue.

I saw a picture on Twitter of one little girl being pulled out. She looked about 8 or so.

One of the schools was an elementary school. The other was a high school.

There is a tornado in Comanche, West of Waco, Texas, that I sure hope doesn't take a turn Northeastward. That probable tornado moving Northeast of Gainesville, Texas - north of D/FW is causing sirens to go off there the news is saying. Hoping those people are finding shelters.

Will do. It's all in God's hands and the safest basement we can find. Downtown Dallas has a whole tunnel complex my boss and I used to frequent years back. Lots of tunnels and shops, I think Dakota's is still there, all underground.
