| We always have two or three huge employee yard sales, at the bank where I work. Our bank is on one of the busiest highway in town and we are lucky they let us use the parking lot, on a day when we are closed. We always sell tons of stuff and I usually buy more than I sell

| My husband and I are garage sale addicts. Of course we have to be since we own a resale shop and we sell on Ebay and Amazon. For me it is like going on a treasure hunt. We sometimes find some of the neatest things. Of course, since I have the yorkies to care for I usually only go on Saturday and I don't get out real early but we still find good stuff. Another great place to shop is Goodwill. We have several Goodwill stores in our area that we visit regularly. One of them has books for 10 cents each and we find some great ones to sell on Amazon. We also find other interesting things there to sell on Ebay.

| Well we didn't have the best luck but we got a few things. I got a box full of brand new scrap booking stuff for $8.00. Saw a really great deal on an old desk with the matching chair but it needed to be refinished and just had no space for it.

| We found all kind of neat stuff to resale. My husband bought a hand forged branding iron with the initials JR for $1; he thinks it might bring $100 on Ebay. He also bought a big go cart with row bars for $40. It is missing the engine but he thinks he can still get around $150 for it. I bought two collectible Madame Alexander dolls still in the boxes for $10 for both. I think one will sell for around $50 on ebay and the other for around $30. We got a lot of other odds and ends too that we can sell on Ebay and in our shop. Does anyone else on YT sell on ebay?

| Hate Garage Sales!!!! Well... at least having a garage sale. ![]() yes... there is one in every bunch..sorryI don't mind going to garge sales, in fact they can be fun. I HATE having a garage sale. People are cheap, they try to steal and some are just rude. I guess I have had some bad experences. And of course I am one of those people who always second guess what I am selling. I have listed stuff on craiglist, had a buyer and changed my mind. I am nuts.. I do sell a lot on craiglist, and buy from craiglist.

That's my only issue with selling stuff on craigslist too, people like to haggle, and I list something for the price I want for it, I don't mark it up, just to then come down on the price....that just seems ridiculous to me.

| I hate having yard sales too; they are a lot of work. I certainly need to have one now but I will probably just keep putting it off. We have people come in our shop that sometimes ask for a better price. Sometimes we can come down and sometimes we can't. If they are buying a lot of stuff or if it is a more expensive we don't mind haggling. Most of the time at yard sales we just pay what the people are asking unless we are buying a lot or if it is a more expensive item we may ask for a little break. Most people don't mind.
