| Sooo Aggravated! So, I took 5 days off last Thursday thru Monday for several reasons. Mostly because of Mandie's dental surgery and her birthday. BUT, also to get my house and yard ready for our Alabama Yorkie Meet-Up that we are having at my house this Saturday. I came back to work yesterday. While I was at work, apparently Asplundh thought it was time to clear trees and limbs around power lines. I don't own this house but I am still very aggravated because they saw me in my yard yesterday morning and could've warned me I was coming home last night to this! This is from my backyard but laying in my front/side yard (which also had them bending my gate!) yard1.jpg This is tire tracks in my back yard that I will not be able to fix so it will just have to look like this..grrr yardtracks.jpg This is the SMALL pecan tree I had in the back yard. They chopped off the entire half of it. Ummm, they couldn't just trim the limbs back??? yardtree.jpg

| Meant to ask - if this was your yard, would you call Asplundh or the power company or who? I just want to make sure they are going to get those trees off of my grass before Saturday...

| I'm really surprised they left all those limbs in your yard. Around my area when they trim the trees they also bring a wood chipper and clean up their mess. I would absolutely call someone. A few years ago a Power line truck really messed up our yard instead of backing up onto our driveway a set of their tires when onto our lawn. Doesn't sound like a big deal but our lawn was wet from the rain and the truck sank down about eight inches and ripped out about 30 feet. What a mess! They came back and fixed everything. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I'd call. Here, it could be a 4-5 days since they usually cut everything & then come back through to clean it up.

| I would call whoever cut them and tell them you need them out of your yard now. That is ridiculous.

| Okay, well I called the power company and then I called Asplundh. They assure me they are going to get the limbs up within the next day or so. Then, I called my landlord to see if he was aware of what they did to his beautiful trees and he was aware. He was seriously upset and had me laughing at him because he was ready to go to the home of the president of the power company (who obviously informed him they have a 15 foot right of way) and do to his yard what was done to ours. I told him not to be doing anything like that because we needed him around Just kind of made me feel better to know that he already knew and was even more upset than I am. He said they WILL be back to fill in those tracks and clean up anything they messed up. We'll see...

| I am so sorry about your aggravation. I sure hope they were able to get your yard cleaned up for the Meet-up. I'm so sorry that I'm going to miss this one, hope I can make the next. |

| Well, I got the yard as good as I could. Unfortunately, my procrastination due to rain cost me the ability to cut my front yard. I tried early morning on Saturday before everyone arrived and couldn't get my lawn mower to start. lol Fortunately, the back yard was cut the day before the rain Here's the thread with some pics/smilebox - http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...ml#post4193252
