Have you watched the video of the aunt? As soon as she said "I don't trust the FBI" all the journalists started madly scribbling in their notebooks. Like, this is gonna be a great soundbite! I don't trust the government either folks. People say if you don't do anything wrong, there's nothing to be afraid of. Not true. What if you were related to these young men? And you KNEW them and knew them not to be radicals and to see this on the news? Wouldn't you WANT hard proof? I thought this country was innocent until proven guilty? But SO many innocent people are sentenced and put behind bars or accepting plea deals bc the DA's and such are scaring them to do so. And then there's the argument of guilty people going free. What can we do? |
Teen stunned at portrayal as bombing suspect The father is exactly right. This boy is innocent, yet the media jumped on his images: "Right now, we are not secure," he said. "So, the news (media), when they put something, they should be sure about the information." I have no doubt his race played a factor. The public demands immediate results so the media grasps at straws. |

I doubt the Tsamaev brothers conceived or carried out this plan on their own. |

I don't believe in victim bashing, and I am NOT saying that this is the case here, but after years of research in tertiary, I cannot say I believe something just because a witness says so. However, the poor guy with his legs looking at the guy dead-on is pretty damning. What bothers me is that when a city is in lockdown where you're supposed to stay inside and not look out the windows, who knows what's really going on?? ESPECIALLY after a cop gets killed. |
This isn't over. We really need to know what happened to turn these two young men into terrorists. But from the sound of his father, mother and aunt, they are highly suspicious, paranoid and fodder for extremist movements. No doubt it's largely beliefs grown from their home country and its many troubles and strifes. But it's pretty disturbing that there are people living here that feel this way about America, the American justice system and seem so hostile to it. I don't understand but hopefully some study of what went wrong can give us some skills and methods for intervening before more young people like these brothers are created and waiting with bombs at a large celebration of Americans engaging in things we love like sporting events, flying to a vacation destination or even just going to work via mass transit. In spite of it all, America will prevail and grow stronger and we'll love her more. I'm so proud of us. |
This is all very Sad! The whole ordeal of all this killing 5 people thats including one of the suspects and people young and old missing limbs over 180 hurt some still in serious condition. These two young men were suspects and wanted for questioning. If I was wanted for questioning, my picture was all over the news and I didn't do anything I would turn myself in. How many people were involed in this bombing, who are these people, and WHY? Hopefully we will find the answers to these questions plus more and justice will be served. |

This story causes so many mixed emotions for me. Friday Morning when they 1st released the photos of the two "middle eastern" boys (that were persons of interest at the time) I read an article about the incident and they were showing pictures of other pedestrians with large "suspicious backpacks". But it was a screenshot of a post (i'm assuming from a forum) by someone Anonymous, and it's still messing with me. Pretty much the Poster was saying that they worked for some type of secret service, and how this was all staged. He continued on to say how they were going to pin this whole thing on : "...A white male in his early twenties..." Mind you this was WAY BEFORE the media released the pictures of the two real suspects. He said the casualties were real but the events were staged. Later that night after hearing it was two white males as the suspects I started to discredit how accurate the poster was, UNTIL I heard about how THE OLDER brother is now dead, and so now the sole suspect is the younger brother, or as the poster said " a white male in his early twenties" (19 to be specific). Now to address the comment about " if you are innocent why not turn yourself in?.....why are you carrying a gun?...and why did you kill that officer?" Well think about it like this.... IF you were innocent and your face is PLASTERED ALL OVER AMERICA as a murderer and a terrorist....would you not be scared?? And now that there are angry people out there that want to harm you...would you not carry a gun also?? And I'm a "see to believe it" type of girl...there were no other witnesses to the officer getting shot. so unless they have that on video, I remain to be skeptical. And I don't know about the rest of you but if I was ACCUSED of doing all these things KNOWING I didn't do it...i wouldn't be so fast to turn myself in. why would I?... So they can put me in jail for life for something I didn't do...or to EVEN sentenced me to death? Nope not me. And maybe the older brother had a "they'll never take me alive to jail for something I didn't do attitude" IDK. I'm just confused. Now hearing about this witness watching the younger brother put the bag down...is making me more suspicious. MAYBE it's just a New Yorker thing, but ever since 911 we don't play around with things like that. There's a campaign on subway ads that say " If you see something suspicious, report it"...and it shows a black duffle bag alone under a seat. So this witness WATCHED the brother put the bag down and leave, but never tapped him and said "hey you left your bag!"?? or when he seen the bag was left there without it's owner...he didn't seek out a officer to report it?? Sounds mighty strange to me.... I don't want anyone to think that I'm DEFENDING these boys because thats the last thing I want to do. I just feel that there are alot of strange things surrounding this incident. And I don't think It's "disgusting" for this woman not to trust the Government...because trust me there are some corrupt things going on up there, weather you believe it or not. And as a "younger" citizen growing up....we see it more. But I feel that their Mother has a RIGHT to question the government. SHE RAISED them so weather her beliefs are right or wrong...she can believe what she wants because no one has been around those boys more than her. Let Animal control come and take your precious furbaby away and say that they ripped some mans head off....would you believe everything they told you?? LoL. |
All In all I'm heartbroken for those families that were affected. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery and find a way to cope with their life altering experience. And I pray for the families who are mourning. If this boy is truly guilty I pray for mercy and for forgiveness. If not, I hope the truth comes out. |

4chan ThinkTank - Imgur The poster said that it would all be used to try and further restrict materials to make ammo. Well, they didn't find anything like that (that we know of) in his apartment. They did find more crudely made explosives, I think. Re what would you do if you were wrongly named the suspect: When the FBI (before they released the pictures of the two brothers) gave descriptions of two suspects, a lot of people that had been looking at the 4chan pics and they thought that 2 of the guys shown at the link were the bombers. You can find them easily, they are circled. One even had a white hat, although it was worn the regular way and not on backwards as described by the FBI. Both of these guys immediately contacted police and went into to talk to them, and they were quickly cleared. It turned out that they were a running coach and a high school long-distance runner. Can I believe that someone would be wrongly fingered and run because of it? Absolutely. But I can't believe they would have guns, IED's (another pressure cooker), and homemade grenades with them when they tried to run? No. And I cannot get the past the eye-witness account of Jeff Bauman, the guy that had both of his legs blown off. When he first woke up in the hospital, the first thing he asked for was pen and paper so that he could write down what he saw. He described what the older brother was wearing as he dropped the bag at his feet. I doubt he would allow his legs to be blown off in order to be in on some sort of a conspiracy to finger an innocent person. |
Staged?????? What in the world?????? WHY would this country feverishly work to conspire to do this, involving a such a huge number of people you couldn't even begin to count them all, asking them to dump their principles and beliefs and risk everything from their careers to prison to the death penalty, make and plant bombs, kill people outright and put all of those seriously wounded people on total and permanent disability for life, rock the foundations of this country and cost tax-payers tens of millions of dollars for lawsuit settlements, death benefits, workmens' compensation injuries involved in the whole project, lifelong disability payments for the victims and other injuries, all of the law-enforcement costs, the legal and court costs, the planning and time to interview needed conspirators and test them for fidelity to the plan, and manage to bring it all off in front of a host of CCTV and digital cameras - all to conspire against two brothers living in Watertown, Mass.? Why? |
I hope I didn't come off as that crazy person who thinks everything is a conspiracy. Lol. I was just saying somethings didn't seem right. Trust me I used to be one of those people whenever I heard conspiracy theories I would just roll my eyes and brush them off. But as I've gotten older I've seen so many unjust and down right outrageous things happen to innocent citizens. And I'm supposed to just listen to everything that is being TOLD to me?? I can't. And that fact that some of you think the Government...or whoever the hell is running things can't be or hasn't ever displayed questionable actions is quite disturbing. I mean even police officers have BLATANTLY framed people, killed people, or beat innocent citizen without any real reason besides them just wanting to or they were covering up their own a**es and guess what? They STILL got away scott free. So is it really impossible to believe that people in high places with endless connections could ever have another agenda all for the sake of what they believed in? To be quite frank...I've had this conversation multiple times this week and I'm tired of wracking my brain over the unknown. Conspiracy or not....I wish it never happened. Honestly I shouldn't be putting too much energy in these situations because these incidents have been happening back to back. I don't even watch the news much because all that ever shows is death, pain, and struggle. It's quite discouraging and my mind and heart cant take to hear anymore: hit and runs, or bombings or shootings. And i'm one of those firm believers that believe we're in the ending days, corruption, chaos, plagues, extreme natural disasters, falling economies...It's all coming to pass and all I can do pray. And because of this I'm not as naive as I used to be, I don't believe everything I hear. ESPECIALLY after the KONY 2012 campaign, I learned my lesson not to be so quick to jump on a bandwagon without doing my own research. |
If it were staged why would they be carrying a pressure cooker bomb that they threw out at the police during the chase that thankfully didnt go off |
Also why would they tell the guy they car jacked they were responsible for the bombings the police have alot of evidence they did it |
"The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact." That is what the admin of 4chan wrote at the top of the page that post is from. I actually saw it right as it was posted by the OP. I go to 4chan's animal and DIY boards. That post suggesting it was faked came from /b/-random. That board is AWFUL. So yeah, I do not take that post seriously in the slightest. Just saying. |
I'd still like to know why? Why would they stage this horror? |

:eyeballpc OMG! I just submitted a long response to all of your questions and it freaking disappeared (excuse my language). But let's try this again... I don't know how to put multiple quotes in my response so i'm just going to respond by name. @Carmeow... I just seen the link that Ownedbyjezebel posted and that wasn't the site that I went to. It was just an article that screetshotted some of the pictures so maybe that's why I didn't see the disclaimer. Sorry for the confusion. @Yorkietalkjilly....I never said that It was staged or that I actually believed this specific event was staged. I was just saying how some of the details that were being reported sounded a little fishy to me. And how I'm not so quick to believe everything that I'm told. Now to rightfully answer your question...I'm sorry to say that I can't. I'm the wrong girl to ask. I'm nothing more than an ordinary slightly paranoid person. :D @Ownedbyjezebel...Well no one specifically wrote that. It was something I took out of someones post, (and maybe I was wrong) but I FELT that they were implying that. It was something along the lines of "it being disturbing how the mother was suspicious and being hostile to America and it's justice". So thats where my response came from. But I feel what's so disturbing about someone not trusting America? There are many Americans who don't trust America. Hasn't America (or whoever make decisions on the behalf of America) displayed questionable and secretive actions before? so what's so disturbing about a mother not trusting them? BUT!!! If I read it the wrong way and took that post out of context I apologize in advance. |
With an ongoing investigation, I'm not surprised or bothered that we don't have all of the answers. Then you throw the news media into the mix -- they are always in such a hurry to be first and look like they know everything, mistakes are made, creating a lot confusion. I think back to when OJ Simpson stayed at a hotel near my home in Chicago the night after the murder of his ex-wife and her friend. A huge throng of reporters were there for a week because some thought OJ hid the murder weapon in the "woods" next to the hotel. It was a clump of trees and we had a great time watching the reporters stand in front of the trees and report all kinds of silly things that were not true about the area. Back to white hat suspect #2 in the hospital. I don't understand how he could have put the gun in his mouth and have the bullet go through his neck, and then he climbed onto the side of the boat himself to give himself up. In pictures when he is on the ground and later being wheeling into the hospital, it looked like he had an oxygen mask on his face. If the bullet had gone through his mouth and neck, wouldn't they have done a tracheostomy in the field and had the oxygen at his neck? |
I guess everyone hears diffence things from the news. Now I heard he had gotten shot in the neck and leg more than likely from where the shoot out was where his brother was killed. How they knew to look for him in Watertown was because the vehicle he stolen, the owner of that vehicle had left his cell phone in the vehicle and then FBI tracked his cell phone to the Watertown area. The suspect after getting into Watertown fled the Vehicle on foot. That is the reason they believed he was in that area and asked that knowone leave their homes and to stay off the streets so that they could search the area. Within 30 mins after lifting the ban a man went outside and noticed his boat tarp was ripped and saw blood, lifted the tarp and saw someone inside his boat and called 911. Just my opinion I really don't think that 19 year old tried to kill himself if so he would have and wouldn't have been trying to hide. He's a kid and I think really afraid of what was happening. I really think he get caught up in something maybe brainwashed into thinking he could get away with it without being caught. Why would anyone think crazy things to bomb and kill people is beyond me. Hopefully he will tells the FBI the truth of what happen and why. I hear alot talk about well maybe they were after the wrong people and these two didn't do it. Well if these two brothers were not involed they should have turned themselfs in for questioning. Because it's a fact by running they made it worse for themselfs. They did have a shoot out with police with death resulting thats a fact, they did steal and highjack a vehicle thats a fact. And so many other things happened because they ran. And just for these things they would be tried and found guilty. Sorry but I don't feel an innocent would run and do all these things. An innocent person I'm sure would be scared if they saw their picture all over the news but would turn themself in and try to clear the matter up. Again this is just my opinion. This whole ordeal was terrible and so senseless. |

As to paranoia or wondering about the news reports to date, no one is claiming facts in court yet. Media is merely reporting on what law enforcement and bystanders and victims have reported to them from things they have seen, discovered or experienced. To date, a single bombing suspect has been charged. No Grand Jury has met or anything, no indictment brought and no decisions on the type of penalty to be sought have been made. Later on, once an indictment is made, the police and federal investigations are all complete, then the prosecution will start to put the facts together and see if they can prove a case against the indicted person(s) and decide on the type of penalty they will seek. Down the road a trial will take place unless there is a plea. During that trial, the defense will refute the prosecution's case with any contradictory facts, witnesses and information they have from their investigation and discovery. In federal court, a jury(or a judge in a bench trial) will decide on whether the defendant(s) is/are guilty and if so, the sentence will be rendered by the judge or jury, depending upon the type of the federal case. That is our judicial system. It isn't perfect by far because it is made up of humans but it works better than most I've read about or heard of. Still, to me, the information coming out in the media to this point and the persons it is pointing to is by far easier to believe than some of the other theories I have read on the internet! |
Federal charges have been filed against Dzhokar for "use of a weapon of mass destruction" and "malicious destruction of property resulting in death." |
Quote:
Now what I can answer is that the people who believe or are open to the thought of this being staged don't believe that this was set up for the SOLE purpose of blaming it on someone. I've heard so many theories from it being about taking away right's for something... To this keeping America in fear, because while we are so distracted by this high profile case, "they" are passing laws and bills right under our noses but we don't even realize it, or hear about it on the news because this story is all they report 24/7. OR to have us (continue to) dislike "muslims" so we as a country can support and fund violent actions against islamic countries thinking that we are retaliating. |

That woman brought her sons and her whole family to this country and it took them all in, even let one become a citizen. It kept them safe until the sons turned on it and its innocent citizens in the streets. The father even called one of those brave policemen who were chasing his boys before they could set off more bombs or kill another policeman or kid, a coward for shooting his son, the bomber and killer and maimer! A coward?!?! Seriously? If this country was so awful, why didn't the mother and father go to Greece or Italy or Japan or Turkey or Saudi Arabia with her family? If this country is so distrustful, why not go to Russia or China - if they would even have allowed them in so they could leave their war-torn country? Wonder what kind of justice her sons would have gotten there? From what I hear, people in Japan weren't told of the terrors they faced from that nuclear plant after the earthquake, Greece's politicians have its people striking and marching in the streets from the mishandling of their economy and burdened under huge taxes now, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and China all have their own legal/imprisonment issues with their own citizens claiming terrible police and law enforcement climates and conditions, believe me - as does any country. So many countries have and always have had corruption and police states through history where the public has little or no rights. But from what I've read and heard from friends living abroad, no other country seems to struggle as hard to assure its citizens rights to free legal council and fair trials and all types of watchdog groups allowed to exist to help ensure defendants are treated as fairly as possible when arrested for any alleged crime. I'm not saying our legal system parts the Red Sea or doesn't get it wrong at times, but from what I hear of other countries' legal systems, I'll take America's! Distrust America? Compared to other places I hear about and read about, I'm thankful for what we have here. |
Jeanie, the mother and father are already back in Dagestan, a region in Russia. The father left (if I remember correctly) 3 years ago, and the mother has been back there for about a year. Ethnically, they are Chechens. Son#1 was born there. They moved (or fled) to Kazakhstan, where son #2 was born. Then, on to the US. They were allowed to immigrate to the US, claiming political asylum due to the Russian/Chechnya conflict. Your life has to be in danger for asylum to be granted. If it was so bad there, why did they go back to a region of Russia? And their older son went back for six months. No way I would move back to a place where I thought my life was in danger. Now the parents both want to come back to the US to be with the younger son. I hope they are denied. AFAIAC, going back there to live shows that they are not afraid to live there at all, and their request for asylum was fraudulent. When you are granted asylum, you get instant government bennies out to wazoo -- welfare, food stamps, housing, you name it. And while momma was still here, she was running a spa (facials, etc) out of their house, probably taking cash under the table and not paying any taxes on it. These people have used us enough. Regarding the conspiracy theories, I ran across one on the internet yesterday that was the wildest thing I've seen so far on this attack. They claimed that nobody lost any limbs, it was all staged. Every one of those people were already missing limbs and were wearing prosthetics and they were standing there ready for the fake blasts. They had pictures from the scene that they claimed proved it. Yep, all of those people were in on it, as well as the first responders, police, EMT's, hospitals, doctors, nurses ...... SMH. |

Now on to address the mother, I feel you are judging her, but have no idea what it's like being in her shoes. Yes to you her feelings can come across a little offensive especially if her boys really are the ones who did this. But at the end of the day they are still her SONS. She carried, birthed and raised them for 20+ years. Theres a unexplainable connection and personal bond she has with them. So what should a normal reaction be? She knew these boys all their lives and (claims) she's never seen anything suspicious....then overnight her boys are public enemy # 1 and committed some of the most horrendous crimes. Would a mother not be in shock? Not know who to trust or what to believe at first? And let's be honest MAJORITY of parents of killers, rapist, or law offenders...never believe at 1st. what do they always say...."When I first heard it. I didn't believe them."...."it took me some time to come to reality and accept what my child did."..."if someone would have told me a few years ago that my child would to grow up into a serial killer I would have told them they're lying." So what's so different now? And I'm sorry, but I'm tired of other Americans making it seem like America Is so giving and sheltering, and if Immigrants have any opinions against America, then they're told "why did you come here?...why didn't you move someplace else." How would you know if their mother wasn't grateful for the OPPORTUNITIES America has provided her? Has she told you this herself, because I don't understand how being in shock and questioning something is being ungrateful. And YES she could've picked any other place to live but she chose America. But I'm pretty sure like MOST other immigrants what shelter she had created for her son's, she made it happen. Not America. As a daughter of immigrants, everything that my parents have today they've EARNED and gotten THEMSELVES!! My mothers degree, her job...she earned it and had to work twice as hard for it BECAUSE she was an immigrant. No one will EVER be able to stare my mother in the eyes and tell her that everything she has, was given to her by America. And please the only thing America gives immigrants are a kick in the a** and green cards, and even that's hard to get. Now I don't want anyone to think that I'm bashing or bad mouthing America because I'm not. And trust me I'm very grateful to live here and to raise my son in a diverse and ever expanding country like this. But my gratefulness will never hold my tongue from saying what needs to be said. And I honestly don't even want to touch the topic of the judicial system. Not to say that it hasn't ever been effective...I'm just not a fan. The fact that cops can kill someone before their wedding and get away with it, Mothers can kill their daughters and gets away with it, and innocent people are sentenced to death and killed in jail for something they never did is really mind boggling. As a proud American and all I will never open my mouth and say I trust it, or fully support it. |
@ ownedbyjezebel....if it's true that she has received all that help then I take back what I said about her earning her lifestyle. LOL! |
