I just saw the majority of her statement in front of the jury. Reminded me of an 6th grader doing a social studies report before the class. Seemed like an assignment, was lacking in emotion, uninvolved and hurried. Grade: D - |

OMG....when she pulled out that SURVIVOR t-shirt...I almost had a stroke right then and there. UNBELIEVABLE. That is by far the most unfeeling, callous, cold, shockingly-ignorant, astounding thing I've seen from her to this day. Blew.Me.Away. Oh and also? She did media interviews last night from about 4-midnight. Nice, eh? She says in her speech that she "didn't want all this to be public" and didn't want Travis' name and info in the public....meanwhile...8 hours of interviews. GIVE ME A BREAK. Gawd, true narcissists are the most deplorable disgusting human beings. |
Arias has no idea of how most people perceive her. She lives in her own reality - it's far easier than facing her reality. I'll tell you I'd rather get the needle than live in a cell for 25 years or more. I could not take that life. There is NOTHING to do but the same, same, same nothing stuff day after day. I saw that tiny cell she's now living in in isolation and I'd go mad as a hatter in something like that inside a week. In prison, she'll get a slightly bigger one but there's no space or furniture or color or life there. The window is high up and you can't even see through most of them! It's nothingness. I marvel at how people make it for years and years. I couldn't do it. |
omagosh.....Poor Nurmi had on disgusting bright red and yellow socks with his gray business suit in court yesterday! As Ms. Arias was giving her elementary school presentation to the jury yesterday, he's in the background flashing those discordant, OT socks! I saw that Survivor tee-shirt! The jury obviously didn't believe her about her "domestic abuse" so to flash that thing before their likely disbelieving eyes was like a slap in the face to those 12 people! And I can just imagine women with ill with cancer clamoring to get a murderess' hair in their wigs to put on their heads when they are so ill! How creepy would that be - to wonder if the very wig on your head had Jodi Arias' hair in it! |
And didnt her lady lawyer look Oh so professional in her blue fingernail polish.....please! I watched it streaming live yesterday...am dying to watch today!!! They havent come back....I thought it was going to be a really quick decision...I still think she will get the death penality..... |
Giving interviews afterward, without eyeglasses, made up etc. I hope the jury comes back with a sentence one way or another today....or else it just never ends. |

I'm starting to get worried! I had to stop watching it this afternoon - I'm sick of 'The Jodi Show'. I'm surprised the jury is taking so long- makes me worry they will give her life and she will get out in 20 - which is possible. If they don't arrive at a verdict tomorrow the poor Alexander family will have to wait till next week when court reopens after the holiday weekend. After watching Jodi's press conferences last night, I really want her on death row..... She's a danger to society!! I wish the jury could see what she is doing and how she really behaves!! They would all agree to death row in 5 minutes if they saw her holding court with all the tv shows! |
Whatever happens to her, she's going away for a good long while of enforced years of living in a gray cell, no comfortable home, no life, no dogs or fabulous vacations, no Christmases by the hearth with family and friends, yucky, miserable food - or the needle so she'll get to know justice and utter despair once the cameras are gone and the fan mail peters down to a sad few cards from losers. And if she gains weight, gets a little gray, even the press won't be interested. Ms. Arias is in for a rude awakening one day. |
She is so clueless. I always have a little compassion, even for the very worst of those in our society...I mean, there is light inside all of us. BUT MAN, I am just getting so angry over all these interviews!!! She has NO CLUE that she is despised...in one interview she says something like "I get all kinds of mail and messages from people who support me and believe me, so no, I don't hear of the other stuff or that I'm hated". Ackkkkkkkkk! Makes me crazy. She is clueless that people view her as a monster, a pariah, a pathology. I feel like the jury has to arrive at some sort of conclusion today, I really hope they do. I cannot imagine this phase going to a new jury....my gosh, to put Travis' family through that! I hope it doesn't happen. |
I'm getting worried about this jury making a decision. I believe they should have included life without the possibility of prole. It would have been a good compromise for the jurors. I wonder if the victim was a woman, seeing all the pics of her stab wounds and throat cut and a man was the perpetrator if this jury would be taking this long to decide on a penalty? I doubt it. If the jurors holding out for life are deciding on this only because of some moral conflict they should be asked to be excused and another juror should be brought in instead of having a hung jury. |
You would think the two options given to the jury would have been, life without parole or death....because if she gets the life.....I can just see it now....minus 10 years for good behavior, minus another 5 years for singing capabilities, munis aonther 5 years for atristic talent.....'ell, we will end up OWING her time somehow!!!! |
