Besides Castle I also enjoy Blue Bloods, I came from an Irish Catholic family but not big and my grandfather who I never met was high up in the NYC police department so I guess the show has special meaning. Besides the cop stuff I love the family dynamics of the Regans

Oh, I love Blue Bloods, too. It is a real favorite of mine. Love all the ethic touches and traditions and way it portrays them in the context of family and community. Love the public-servant-home-and-work aspect. Wahlberg is wonderful in it and so is Tom Selleck. Well, all of the characters are pretty well-drawn and full-bodied. Wish they revealed more main-character warts sometimes but I guess not enough time for that, too.

Me, too. Love the "new" Sherlock and DA. How can we get the other version of DA?

I think iTunes has them...? If not, Amazon definitely does! It's free for Prime

I only watched one PBS episode. But, in a nutshell, yes. They've cut out hours of scenes. :/

It's a terrible shocker. You won't like it AT ALL. I was almost mad at the writers.

It's not their fault. He wanted to pursue other venues...Broadway in particular.

just finished watching it, very sad, but I did see him interviewed before this season started and he said something to the effect that he did not want to do another season because he had other things he wanted to do. To bad I liked his character. The new episodes are sure to be so so sad. I will miss that show. LOL I felt so submerged in the whole family and those costumes, i saved the series just in case I wanted to look at the costumes and scenery again. LOL I am even starting to like Thomas!

where do you go to watch the British version, I rented the first two seasons and they were the PBS version.

I was to shocked to even cry, I suppose that will come with the first episodes of the new season. I will have to grieve since I feel like one of the family members, of course the upstairs family

So you have finished it. Isn't it Ugggghhhh!?!? Well, that's a series for you! One of the reasons we watch - to see what will happen next but this one surprised me. How dare one of the characters want to leave!

Oh, well, there's Castle tonight. Going to get my shower early, make cocoa and tuck in so will be all set to watch and this one better not end anything like that last episode of DA did or I will be so mad.

I'm also watching Scandal. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that one. It's so OT.

Oh, no kidding. And her father and that Harley Street doctor! I was really mad at them. I mean if she's going to die anyway, give her whatever chance you can.

Anyway, tonight I guess we'll see Castle channel his inner Liam Neeson as he goes after his daughter and kicks some bottom.
