|  Our weekend in Cape Hatteras... well, at least Im exfoliated! Because when you stepped outside, you were sandblasted!!!! LOL It was SOOOO windy, and chilly..you couldn't really be out there much! We did manage to lay on the beach a few hours friday..but onyl if you laid FLAT! I'm going to go check them out now - I was back east last year up the coast from you and it's GORGEOUS there ...I LOVE the East Coast Beaches...they're so natural |

 Yeah, it was blustery here this weekend so I can imagine Hatteras. That sand hurts like heck. What you do is find two dunes and lay in between those....blocks the wind and blowing sand. We learned after years of we girls going down in May (before the "season" starts)...just showing up would inviably result in a "record breaking cold spell here on the Island". Glad you had fun any way. And if ya drove down...you could've gone shopping....if we're not on the beach...we're shopping Make a note to stop in Gray's the next time you go. I love, love, love Gray's....and Gray's loves my $$.
