Yeah, it was blustery here this weekend so I can imagine Hatteras. That sand hurts like heck. What you do is find two dunes and lay in between those....blocks the wind and blowing sand. We learned after years of we girls going down in May (before the "season" starts)...just showing up would inviably result in a "
record breaking cold spell here on the Island".
Glad you had fun any way. And if ya drove down...you could've gone shopping....if we're not on the beach...we're shopping
