| Man finds diamond ring in Car!!! Man Finds Diamond Ring In Car Engagement Ring Wrapped In Note BOSTON -- An anonymous gift-giver, apparently depressed over a lost love, left a $15,000 diamond engagement ring in somebody's else's unlocked car in a commuter parking lot. The ring came in a box topped with a white bow and accompanied by a note, which read: "Merry Christmas. Thank you for leaving your car door unlocked. Instead of stealing your car I gave you a present. Hopefully this will land in the hands of someone you love, for my love is gone now. Merry Christmas to you." A 37-year-old Northborough, Mass., man found the three-diamond, white gold ring on the seat of his car, which he had parked at the MBTA train station in Westborough on Dec. 7. He called police to report the find four days later, after he had the ring appraised. "This appears to be random, but we don't really know," said police Lt. Paul Donnelly. Police declined to identify the man. A police report said he had decided to keep the ring.

| wow nice gift........I was gave a car and older car a few years ago that belonged to an older women that died and her family got the car and gave it to me. They told me that there was still stuff in the car and that what ever I find was mine. well I cleaned the car out and found a real exspensive empty ring box.......I called and asked them about the ring They told me that they dont know any thing about a ring but if I find on I could keep it. well a month went by and I decided to clean the car everything was out of it but the papers in the dash and dust. I was taking out the stuff in the glove box to suck up the dust when deep in the corner I felt some thing , I stuck my fingers down into the back corner and pulled out a real pretty diamond ring. I have it and have never had it checked out. It has been put away. But now that you brought this to my attention I will go see what its worth. I had planned to do that long ago but had really forgotten all about it.I will keep you updated on what they say. |

| Oh gosh Debbie! What a treasure to find. Go have it checked out. I have an old diamond ring that the band is too thin for my liking and is too small. I am going to have the diamonds put in a pendant. No matter what setting they're in, diamonds are forever |
