I totally agree with you. I just saw a post on FB that said Black Friday is the day Americans trample on each other to get more stuff on sale, a day after they gave thanks to what they already have.

The post-Thanksgiving tradition is now starting sooner than ever -- almost competing with late holiday feasting on Thanksgiving day. Toys R Us, Sears, Wal-Mart and Target are all opening their doors between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday evening.

YOu know... I called my little bro last night, he is being deployed for 3 years and his washer & dryer will sit in storage for all that time, not being used. We are probably going to work out a deal where I buy his off of him. They are only 7 months old! I just thought of that yesterday, so I'm a little slap happy at the moment with my brilliant plan! Hubby said I can buy whatever I want, so that made me really happy!!! hahaha

Sounds like a win win.. More storage space and things unused tend to break down faster at times it seems so sounds like you both got a good deal out of it!
