| Target Has anyone heard about Target not having any sales this holiday season at all? Does anyone know why? Seems crazy to me and a way to lose money.

| What kind of sales? I'm always finding items on clearance at Target. They're always updating their items, which means older ones are going on sale.

| Apparently this is true. Not sure this will work for them either. Target Addict: Target plans to sidestep holiday price wars...

| I had not heard this! I'll still shop there...they have pretty reasonable prices for most things I'm looking for. I also love the atmosphere and the style of the store (if that even makes sense lol) so I'd be willing to pay a little extra for that |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | This doesn't mean they won't have sells, it does mean they won't participate in the "price wars". Some serious shoppers can get flat screens TV's for $10.00 and the stores that do that are losing money, so have to raise prices on other things to give themselves a profit. This will be good for the majority of us who aren't going to the black Friday sells, but bad for those who love participating in shopping combat! Still plenty of other places doing it, I for one say, hurray for Target!

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I am glad they are not doing it. I worked in retail for a long time. People are nuts. And I think the stores are getting nuttier and nuttier. They are opening thanksgiving and most of the holidays. They do not care about their employees. If they a not open the shoppers are still goings to go shopping there another day. I know there is places I love to shop at. And if they are not open I will just go back there another day. I think that people should go to target more and support what they are doing. Maybe they will start a trend.. . . . |

| Target is one of the few big stores I shop at because they do so much for communities. They will have their regular sales etc but will follow their sales protiobs based on real economic sales prices and not just slashing prices to unrealistic lows to undercut the competitions prices. They are planning a guarentee of 50k holiday jobs from in store stockers wrappers to truck drivees sales and advertising staff etc, I'd rather see 50k Americans get even temporary holiday jobs than get an item for a price it can't be manufactured for.

| Agree. Don't get to Target too often but always go a couple times during the Christmas season and again at Easter. But I hadn't heard of the no sales decision. What site or TV show or article did you see that in?

Plus, they have the collab in December with Neiman Marcus and 24 CFDA designers. They'll more than make up any loses from Black Friday sales. It's gonna be crazy!!!

| It is an interesting store being just slightly different. If ours were easier to get to, would probably go more often but it's right across from a huge mall and traffic and the crowds there are always bad. Terrible at Christmas - but still worth the trip from time to time.
