I personally am not a fan of black Friday to many people end up hurt and due to my anxiety I have never gone out on black Friday I stay home eat turkey sandwiches and chill.

aw man, that's upsetting! I got a TV a few years ago on black friday at target and I'm do for a new TV, was hoping to get another one this year

I couldn't agree more! Since I work retail I refuse to go into stores on any holiday unless I'm working. Its sad the way people treat those working in retail stores. I've always loved Target and I'll shop there regardless of their sales.

It was a 32" for 200 something... that was a good deal back then! Now all the 32"'s are in the 200's! I am so ready to upgrade to a bigger one!

I have had a 55 for a while and ready for 70 or 90. Go ahead and go big, you'll never be sorry for the little extra $ when you sit down to a 1080p movie or football game.

I never do Black Friday to buy - it just looks awful in those lines and I just hate the crowds when I'm really seriously shopping. I do go to the malls occas. on it for just browsing and so see everybody who is out, run into friends, but don't stay long. The parking at our malls is abysmal on BF!!! Have to walk forever from your spot. And then trying to get out an exit from the mall parking - wait, wait, wait. Plus the traffic is congested on all roads near it that day. Lately I've stayed home & watched movies and decorarated the house.

I was going to say prices have come down so much, don't worry, lots of other stores are going to have promotions.

After I got mine, I've preached bigger bigger bigger to everybody shopping for their next & no one is sorry they did! They just enlarge your movie, TV experience to the max. Even old B&W movies look spectacular on big, big screens. One of the things I find interesting about the bigger ones, you can see so much detail in the background and interesting things from long ago in some of the old movies. And cartoons & such are fun again. I can't wait to get a bigger one.

I don't love giant tv...widescreen tv and wide screen movies now that is my fav!

No idea how much you've been missibg until you see it on widescreen!

Maybe because we have a small entertainment room but I love the 42'its actually 46 when measured widescreen Favi I got...for me its the perfect size, and we down sized from a 50 something. Maybe we just need a bigger room?
The bigger one are just too big for our room...I have a 32'full pc monitor though lol!
Derik wants a 72I'm fighting tooth and nail...maybe that's just me.

I agree, I think tv's can get too big, and should be sized for the room. What do you all think of the 3D tv's? They can be fun for a short period of time, but I get a headache if I watch too more than one movie.
