| Can you take it to a friends and put the pix on a CD from that computer and then transfer them to yours? Have you run all your System Tools clean-up programs, updated Windows, etc. Sometimes just an update in a program will foul things up on an existing program and then they will issue a patch, etc., things we don't even know about. Update everything again, clean up your System Tools, etc., and do a hard boot.

| But you can't put it in and pull it out to adjust it, you have to take it out,let the computer recognize the empty slot, and put it back in, but just short of how far in it would normally go. Like a hair's width less far in...
