| Got cracked heels??? I know it's gross but I have the grossest cracked heels. They're so gross, at night they sometimes will even snag on the blankets.......If I didn't know any better I'd think I had scales back there! In my attempts to get get rid of this problem I've used the Ped-Egg with somewhat of an improvement but not to my satisfaction of smoothness I was hoping for. Also, with the Ped-Egg I had to rub soooo hard I thought I was going to bleed, and I still had some remnants of *ugly* left. Well, I just used my new microplane and it was awesome! It put my Ped-Egg to shame! It required much less effort but I got great results! My heels are now smooth and snag free! I got it all done in just a few minutes! I just might try it on the DH's feet! I am now going to throw my Ped-egg out! Anyone wanting to try it here's the one I ordered.... Amazon.com: Microplane Foot File XL Pro Black:...

| I swear by this stuff...... Healthy Feet They also have a hand cream. I just use a pumice stone at the end of my shower (I shower in the mornings) and then before bed I lather on this cream and put some thin socks on to sleep in. This stuff really works! I use the hand one during the winter. Just put it on before going to bed and see an amazing difference in the morning. I've purchased mine at Bed Bath and Beyond and I think they also carry it in stores like Tractor Suppy, Lowe's, etc.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Okay, I ordered one based on your recommendation and the reviews I read on Amazon. My heels aren't cracked but I do have callouses on the bottoms of my feet (dh says it's genetic, my native American ancestry walking around barefoot for eons....). The Ped egg helps but takes foreverrrr.... I have read using Vick's vapor rub on your feet works like magic to heal and smooth cracked heels. You're supposed to rub the Vick's all over your feet, wear a pair of white cotton socks and in the morning your feet will be much improved. Don't know if it works, I haven't tried it...the smell of Vick's all night isn't appealing to me.

| I can relate... the cracks in my heels are awful and it has been going on for years. I think warm weather makes it worse and it actually hurts to walk. I have tried all kinds of stuff. I did ask my dermatologist about this last month and she gave me a prescription for something call Aluvea. I think it is actually for eczema, but it is starting to work. She told me I can get rid of this, but it is going to take a long time. We'll see.

| I bought a dremel for my pups nails- (didn't work) but so quick for grinding off heel calluses! I have tried the vaseline, zims crack, Mary Kay pink stuff, Healthy Feet, etc. but I think the vicks voporub works much better. Anyone try Keroseal? It was kind of pricey so I haven't wanted to spend if it's just more of the same.. |
