| ![]() Before we even got married my husband and I decided we just wanted 2 children. Well, we had 2 boys and I had my tubes tied....guess what...SURPRISE...3 years later we had another boy! The bigger surprise came later. We always just assumed that my tubes grew back together, even though my Dr did not understand as he had burned and tied them. 7 years later I had a laproscopic procedure done, and the Dr who had originally tied my tubes 10 years earlier, requested a picture of my tubes so that he could see what went wrong...WELL...they had not grown back together! They are about 1" or more apart! So my theory is you can plan all you want and say what you want, but in the end it is out of our hands, the Lord makes those decisions, not us!! |

So just give it time. Before you know it, you'll miss having a baby in the house and he'll want more.

| ![]() I have 3, Breton 17, Chelsea 15 and Tyler 13 and the reason I had more than one is because I apparently concieve when the wind blows the wrong direction regardless of how many birth control methods are being used. 98% effective means 2% not. NOT! I had awful pregnancies including morning, afternoon and evening sickness and gestational diabetes(no cravings allowed). Breton's was a horrific birth and then he had colic and didn't sleep for more than 15 minutes at a time until he was a year old. I would never have done it again on purpose. I am glad they're here at least most of the time, they ARE teenagers after all, and I think we'll make it through this stage too somehow. They were all just babies last week. It goes very fast... |

You sound like my friend- pregnant TWICE off birth control! Her second daughter had awful acid reflux and also never slept. Her baby had it, but no where near as bad. I hear her stories and have since scaled back the number of kids I want!! Bonnie's Mom- that is nuts! I guess some things are just meant to be!

| ![]() Doctor lied to me. I had difficulty getting pregnant after baby 1- went through all the testing told slim to none. Well adjusted to having just one spoiled kid and the dogs. Life was looking pretty good. Big mistake gave away almost all my babystuff but crib and dresser. I am pregnant within 3 months. Mind you eldest daughter was 7. Welcome to the world Miss Michelle. Told really a gift from God cause the chances of my becoming pregnant were slim to none. Never count out mother nature and her little tricks. Well Miss Michelle is 5 years old- I have once again gave way all the baby furniture but that bloody crib and dresser. My wonderful 5 year old is going around and telling people that mommy is going to have a baby. I correct everyone just my daughters wishful thinking. yes with in three months after giving things away and my daughter's wish- I am pregnant with Nick. So much for that high dollar ob-gyn and all those fertility tests. Learned my lesson had them old tubes clipped and burned. No more tricks from mother nature on this old brood. Forgot to add Nick is 16 1/2 years old at this time. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | ![]() I have 3 kids. Kristen 11, Kaylee 10 and Randy is 6. I really wanted the 4th but my hubby didn't. I wanted Randy to have a brother but nobody could promise me I would have another boy. Hubby was glad when I got all the kids in school and we had more time to spend with each other.

| ![]() Bonnie's Mom- that is nuts! I guess some things are just meant to be!
Yep...I definently thought it was nuts at the time also. I did want to say that my surprise is now 14 years old and such a delight! He has a bubbly outgoing personality and we enjoy him so much...as we do our 2 older boys as well. Can't imagine life without any of them! |

| ![]() I have 3. Jesse (boy) will be 18 next month. Dylan just turned 13. Both boys are from my first marriage. I always wanted a little girl. DebrorahAnne is 9 and a super girly girl. I just wish they were all a little closer in age. By my calculations I will never be able to retire.
