Keeping an eye on the radar and hoping this thing turns soon. I sent my son off to Boy Scout camp and a week in a tent in a TS is no fun I can assure you! (He's in NE Georgia).

That's why I call it "The Not So Sunny State"! Even without TS's it's cloudy and rainy through out the summer. And we're always the punch line of many jokes. Can you imagine the face eating zombie in any other state? That's a Florida story every day of the week.

We got totally pummeled with rain all day yesterday. It just never stopped! I'm just to the north of Tampa. Many tornado's touched down, roads and whole neighborhoods have turned to lakes. It's been really bad. A foot of rain for my county.

The rains stopped today for the most part, thankfully. But the winds have really picked up this evening.

And it's looking like Deb is taking her sweet time, in a hurry to go nowhere. She may not make landfall for a couple of more days.

For a minor TS, she's made, and will continue to make, a huge impact. And will be remembered for some time.

I'm seeing whole shopping plaza's that are underwater.

I am in Jacksonville and some roads were like rivers, that businesses had to close. My back yard is a pond, and I know the roads to my house are flooded. I feel so sorry for the people that the water has come into their house. I can't imagine it. Praying everyone stays safe.

Hard rain most of the night. Still supposed to be coming across FLorida right near Jacksonville. Need to buy some boots and a kayak.

I live in Miami -Dade (yes... were the face eating zombies are - but I am real and NOT in the underground drug sean ugh) and we have had a few overcast days of rain. I feel lucky that ts debbie missed up pretty much, but as always I pray she doesn't hurt anyone else.

Makes me nervous.. Hurricane season!

OK here, a tree fell last night a huge oak two doors down. Still no sun here but no rain either. Thanks for everyone's support.

I'm still here. Have not been out to see if there is any damage in my area. (I am in the Beach Blvd/St. Johns Bluff area) No sun, no rain, grass is high. Hope everyone else is safe.

Jacksonville here also. So glad this mess is outta here. I am getting teased really bad cause my name is Debbie. Although I do spell it with the ie instead of Y.
My Mom spelled it with the Y but I liked it longer.

Didnt have home damage from flood but the water is really bad in my yard. The furbabies got to go for a walk today when I took Josie to vet. They were so happy to be on the grass at the Vet. They both ran for a few minutes. They had been inside since Sunday.

I think I would rather have the hurricanes than this.

This storm caused al whole mess of damage up here for just a TS. Glad everyone is ok.

Growing up in Jacksonville, I remember the days of hurricanes.
