| I love wine, because it is so healthy for you. Honest, I read it online. Walmart has Oak Leaf wine that is under $3 a bottle, for every kind, white zinfandel, chardonney, pinot grigio, cabernet, etc. I stock up everytime I'm there. Yes, I am officially a wino!

| I just bought a case of wine on saturday. A chardonnay called TAZ. Its delish! Its also normally 20 a bottle, but it was on sale for $9 and then if you bought a case you'd get another 15% off. At that price I had to stock up!!

| How have I missed this thread?? My fiance and I both enjoy wine. I favor whites, but not sweet whites and I am very picky. I like a nice dry crisp white. I find that New Zealand makes some of the best Sauvignon blancs. My favorites are Seresin and Oyster Bay. What about Torrontes? Does anyone drink that? I think it is a very refreshing white wine. My favorite Torrontes is probably Crios. My finance loves red wine. We usually stick to california cabs or if we are eating a hearty meal will go with a super tuscan. Any rose fans out there? There is actually a vinyard in the hamptons called Wolfer Estate. The rose is very light and refreshing and not too sweet. Also, big fan of champagne, has anyone tried the sophia champagne in a can? it is suprisingly good! I call it the "adult juice box" because it comes with a sippy straw!

| I love, love wine, but sadly, I can't tolerate it anymore. These days, alcohol makes me cranky. ![]() In my past, I had a weakness for port. I never met a port I didn't like. I especially enjoyed port with dark chocolate. |

Oh my mom lives in New Mexico and there is a winery there called St. Claires. They make a port that is delicious! I LOVE it! Every time I go there I stock up on a few bottles. Friends of ours opened a wine store/tasting room near our house and they loved the port so much, they are now stocking it. So I don't have to go to New Mexico to get it anymore! Saves me about $400 a bottle! LOL (flight prices!)

| The only thing I don't like about wine is that the bottom of the bottle comes way too quickly when I've had a particularly entertaining day. I gravitate towards the whites more than anything, but do enjoy a great red on occasion. It depends on my mood, depends on the weather and highly depends on the occasions. Pinot Grigios and Reislings are amongst my favs. I'm such a wino that I'd gutted one of my kitchen cabinets to install a built in wine cooler and have a handy 48 bottle rack above my fridge. How simply convenient!

| We bought a 20 bottle wine fridge for ourselves last Christmas. We are waiting to save up money to gut our kitchen! Then you bet your butt there will be included a built in wine fridge somewhere! LOL

| We are in the process of tearing out our kitchen to start rebuilding from ceiling to floor. The two things that I want in it is a bar area with a wine rack and a beer/wine frig and an area to do prep for the stove, grill and oven. We will be cooking dorm style for about 4 weeks but the frig will stay plugged in so the beer and wine stay cool, cause we are gonna need it. |

| I love wine. I have to have it chilled though, no matter if it's "supposed" to be or not. Sangria is my favorite. And Merlot or Shiraz. Don't like white wine at all. One of the best bottles I ever got was Virgin 2006 Shiraz. Can't find it again to save my life. I've found it online, but I'm in one of those weird states where you can't have wine shipped to you. | I love drinking and cooking with wine. However I can only manage 2 glasses before I get tipsy. Sweetie had a wine rack build in our butler's because he knows that's just how much I enjoy wine. Too bad you live far, otherwise I'd be in that wine club of yours. |
