| Paris: Always in my ♥ Donating YT Member | It is scary looking out there. No basement, huge oaks hanging over the house. I'll getting the hall closet if I need to. It's close to a Category 1 I think. Not bad except for the darn trees. |

| When we lived in Houston, a hurricane came our way & we went to the beach & stayed out as long as we could, then it hit. Wasn't even a bad one & I was scared silly listening to that wind whine hour after hour, the sounds of things ripping, hitting & sitting in the dark with just battery-op lights, no A-C, listening to a static-y radio. Was never so glad as when that long night was over & the sun came out. I pray you don't have a bad storm.

AREAS AFFECTED WILL EXTEND FROM FERNANDINA BEACH TO JACKSONVILLE BEACH AND ST. AUGUSTINE. HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS TO NEAR HURRICANE FORCE ARE POSSIBLE BETWEEN 7 PM AND 10 PM ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COASTLINE. WIND DAMAGE AND POWER OUTAGES MAY OCCUR. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS AND FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS. * TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE NEAR 4 TO 8 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS IN A FEW LOCATIONS POSSIBLE.
