| I do wonder how many people who feed kibble to their pups actually wash their hands frequently especially after feeding them? I'm sure raw feeders throughly wash their hands after feeding their pups. As a nurse I wash my hands a lot at work and at home force of habit. I don't touch my face or eat without washing my hands. After poop clean up 2 hands washing is a most. I could just be super OCD about it though.

| This isnt the first time people have gotten sick or died from handeling dog food. You should always wash your hands after handling it but it is terrible the dog will still eat it with samomella in it since you cant detect it

| Dogs and many animals have different saliva than people and can handle some samonella and bacterias that would make us sick.

| I'm a handwasher after handling kibble or dog chews, etc.

| I know that many people think salmonella will not make dogs sick, but that is really not true. Here are a couple of links with information...there are many more. Salmonella Infection in Dogs | petMD Inflammatory Bowel Disease

| I use a scooper too but they also eat canned food with the kibble mixed in. There is no tell'in how many times a day I wash my hands. Always with soap too, not just a rinse. |
