Thanks everyone. They say another 12 weeks. But I am hoping He will be able to walk sooner. Guess we shall see

He is feeling better everyday. Still sore but I think we are on the mend for sure.

Just make sure he starts and does all his PT just as they tell him to, stretching, etc. - so important. The patient is a big part of post-op success.

Ah! I don't know how I missed your thread.

I'm so glad he has the surgery over with and is home recuperating now. Sending my prayers that he will recover this time and will be walking before the twelve weeks is up.

Yes he listens very well. Which I wasn't sure he would. His big toe was very messed up due to a tendon. The fixed it and he is so excited. I have high hopes that this is going to heal faster
