Nowadays I wear a moisturizer with spf 30 every single day, and even more spf now that its so hot and sunny. However I have bumps and marks I have to live with for the rest of my life. Ladies, I really just want to stress the importance of wearing sunscreen. It will save your life! Pleeease don't skip it! I love you all too much to hear that you guys got burned and sick for the sake of being tan!

I couldn't agree more. I wear sunscreen on my face every single day!

I love being tan too...I am a big fan of natural tanners. Right now my FAVORITE is the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze. The 360 spray works amazing and you never get streaks. I also love the luminous tinted self tanning gel. I find that these products have a less selftanning smell than the others...plus the spray dries instantly!

I saw all the Loreal sublime products, there are SO MANY! It really confused me, so I settled on the product I've used in the past. I'm the weird person who actually loves the smell of self-tanner. I think I'll try the ones you suggested though.

My problem is that my face can't handle any kind of powder product, it sets in a weird way, I've tried MAC, Chanel, NARS, all kinds of powder bronzers, but they don't work with my skin. So I need to find a liquid bronzer for the face. Loreal had one, but I was afraid to tr it because I have extremely sensitive skin.

I have extremely sensitive skin too. I use a tinted moisturizer with SPF 30 from benefit cosmetics. It is called you rebel. It is not a self tanner but more of a face lotion with tint. I love it!

I love Benefit! I have Hoola bronzer and love it for contouring, but I couldn't put it on my whole face. I also have posietint Poppy and it's my everyday blush. Maybe I'll stop by Ulta today and try You Rebel.

I love tanning. Not in beds though. I will gradually work my way into the sun, not just burn myself to a crisp, but there is nothing quite like a tan in the summer. I have fairly darker skin and do not burn easily at all. I did get quite the burn a couple years ago though. It was March and I am in New England so I was as white as I get and then I went to the Caribbean for a week. I got burnt on day 1 because stupid me packed my sunscreen in my carryon (brand new bottle) and they took it away at the airport. I got into FLorida and onto the ship thinking I'd buy more there and the store didn't open until 6pm. So we were on the open deck with no sunscreen (except my face bc I wear a daily moisturizer with SPF in it) all day. I was definitely crispy red. I have never gotten sun poisoning though, never blistered, never fell asleep in the sun, nothing like that. My aunt has to have skin cancer moles removed all the time from her body, but she's super fair skinned and did worship the sun when she was younger. Now she's almost 50 and every couple months, they find a spot that they remove. Nothing major for her though yet.
I do wear SPF now way more often than I used to. I also bring it with me so I can reapply it whenever I need to. However, I do love that tint of color that only the natural sun can give you.

What's my excuse? I live in sunny So Cal! LOL I'm white as can be too! I'm a fair skinned Asian naturally, and I look better tan, but it's so hard for me to tan and I've only burned once in my whole life and it wasn't even that bad. I'm afraid that taking SO long to tan is even worse, having to be under the sun for longer with less of the cosmetic benefit of being tan. Then once if I DO tan, the tan fades so quickly!
