Well here is the update to the drama of my life. I picked up another (yes third) piece of metal in my tire. Luckily it was repairable. But I keep being stranded. Sigh......

We also lost our outside dog and it has made my heart so heavy. Just sad. RIP Shadow.

Now to top it all off........I guess yesterday during school, a student was nice enough to jump up on the trunk of my car and have a seat. Well it dented my trunk in. I am going to report it but nothing will be done. They were able to "pop" out most of the dent. It just has a small one there now.

I keep asking myself, WHAT ELSE!? I think I am ready for 2013. It has to be better.

I used to have an aunt that would say, "You think your pile is high and stinks??? Just look around you, at someone elses pile, and you will GLADLY keep YOUR own pile!!!" When I start thinking I am drowning in rain and getting pummeled by "golf balls" (thank you gidget for that picture!!!), I look at someone elses "pile", and sure enough, I will keep mine! (AND OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS, THERE HAVE BEEN SOME TERRIBLE PILES, PEOPLE ON HERE ARE DEALING WITH....) Praying for all of you that are having a terrible time of it...."this too will pass"....

OMG seriously????? I didn't know about the last piece of metal or the trunk dent......WTH???

As far as Shadow goes, he had a long and happy life with your family and I'm sure he is watching over you on Rainbow Bridge

Things have got to start getting better!!! Or I am coming to Arkansas and shoving that cloud from over you.
It seems when one bad thing happens several things will come right behind.
I am sorry about Shadow..I know how you feel, we lost our Australian Shepherd on Easter Sunday. He was almost 13 years old and had not been sick..it looked like he just went to sleep and never woke up

Thanks for that reminder. You are 100% right! I personally know many others who have terrible storms right now they are going through. So I shouldn't complain about a little black cloud. It is just hard not to have a pity party every now and then.

Oh I know how you feel!! I have pity parties when it seems like everything is going down the toilet, all at the same time....then just to keep me from running, crazy, pulling hair and flailing arms, off into the sunset, I remember what my aunt said to me....it may not make MY pile stink any less, but I think, well it could always get worse...AND DONT EVEN THINK IT COULDNT....My friend at work was having many, many trials and tribulations, and her husband was going thru cancer chemo/rad., then had a car wreck and because his bones were brittle from the radiation, he sustained many, many broken bones and punctured lung....ICU for weeks, got well, got out, had chest pain and ended up with bypass surgery....I passed her in the hall and she was obviously so down...I told her it HAD to get better very soon....she said, Yes it has to, IT CANT GET ANY WORSE".....I ALMOST DIED THE INSTANT SHE SAID THAT!!!! I was like spitting and throwing salt over my shoulder, praying like crazy, lighting candles, and sure enough, her husband passed 2 days later.......SO AS BAD AS IT IS, IT CAN ALWAYS GET WORSE.....I am prayful YOUR dark cloud dissolves and disappears, allowing the bright sunshine to bathe you and your household for a change, lifting your spirits and rejuvinating your happy, tolerant, positive spirit and outlook!!!
