Survivor Is anyone else bored to tears with this new Survivor? I hope they merge those tribes soon...the women are embarrassing as a tribe. |
I agree. Tonight's episode was very blah. But I don't think they are going to merge anytime soon. The woman are awful. |

I have to agree. The women made a mistake tonight. They look so terrible |

Some silliness about establishing trust in their idiotic alliance. How many ways can you spell CLUELESS. |

Lol I was telling my dh tonight they are making us girls look bad Bickering and not working together at all. If they keep it up they will all be going home. It is pretty boring so far |
If it wasn't for Colton I probably wouldn't be watching. At least he adds some entertainment value. :wavey: Colton! :p Linda, I'd love to see you next season!! Ha. |

As for Colton...he kind of bored me tonight, too. The whiney baby thing got under my skin. I am sure it was an act, but it bugged me. But yeah...he does add some character. Everyone else is SO boring. Wish Russell was there. hahha |
I hate it when I see a bunch of women acting like that. Reminds me of Junior High. Can't think of anything more interesting than you, Linda, being on there and giving those women the "what's for!" ;):D:sidesplt::p |
I'm watching it and it's very boring this time around! :dogzzz: They should never have pitted the females against the males. It just doesn't work out when they do that. It's just so lop-sided! I think the guys' comments are a little condescending at times. I can't remember exactly what one guy said last night, but he said something like.....if they were out shopping they would do OK!!! They think they are so superior. OK, OK, I guess I'm male bashing here. Sorry. Hope it picks up, like PRONTO! |

Not to bash him or anything but Colton is not doing well at all. He is becoming an outcast on the mens team by not doing his share of the work and by spending so much time with the women. The men are going to loose trust in him if he continues. I realize that he isn't comfortable being around the men but, the women are in team mode and do not trust him either. He's making enemies of the women and the men. I hope he find his place soon before he finds himself back home. In my opinion he just doesn't seem that into it. Poor kid just seems lost! |
Amen!! |
I thought the challenge where they had to pass each other on the narrow board was designed for the women to win. Women generally have better balance, and they're smaller. They really should have won but fell apart. They need a leader, yet got rid of the cop, who seemed pretty sharp. Colton really is the whole show for me. He's entertaining and in an impossible spot trying to fit in with the macho guys. He'd have been in better position if they didn't separate it by men and women. I LOL'd when some of the guys found out Colton has an immunity idol. They went from deriding him to calling him a mastermind! |
Colton still going strong! Anyone see tonights episode? Colton did a nice job this week. Didn't at all seem like he was ready to through in towel. I'm not sure how he felt about Jeff outing him on national TV. The look on his face was like "who me". lol I was wondering about the question that tarzan asked Jeff right after tribal council though... its funny that my tv cut out at that exact moment. Not sure if it was a bleep or intentional by the producers. Colton said "leave those questions to me" What was the question? |
He asked if Jeff could tell them the last two votes. |
Yea!, for the women doing a little better this week. Guess Linda is not going to have to whip them into shape this week. ;) Is anyone else finding Colton and his group entertaining? |
I have to agree - this season is terrible so far. Those women are so embarrassing to other women! I could not believe not one of them attempted to start a fire for any length of time, and they just kept begging the men for fire. So embarrassing. |

And, too, the women hold the power over the men when it comes to the men borrowing the boat and fishing equipment!! Are they too dumb to see this and use that power?! The men were trying to ramrod the deals about using the boat!! Really embarrassing! |

Wilderness competence aside, I think it's an interesting dynamic to see the women get what they want out of the men without offering anything up. The men, so far, are all talk about deals. I'm actually embarrassed for them. They should spell out the deal before giving anything up. If the women say they would need tribe approval, tell them to leave the men's fire and go get it. In real life, yes, you'd allow them to share the fire and shelter without expecting anything in return. But this is a contest for a million dollars. I continue to think Colton is one of the more entertaining people on the island, and his intelligence is starting to shine through. Though he wanted the other guy off, he didn't bully his alliance into it. He switched to the guy who was voted off, and I'm thinking that was the smartest move. That roosters and chicken conversation showed his true colors. He also brilliantly told everyone that he was going to play the idol -- then he didn't play it after the vote was in. Best move of the week. |

He was like idol, what idol? ...But how long do you think that little trick will work. "Fool me once sham on you, fool me twice shame on me" With the women winning twice in a row I doubt that the men will be willing to help them as much, if at all. I hope they strategies and find a way to get what they need without causing friction with in their own tribe. Or they could just steal an amber/fire again...!! lol |
I don't think Men vs Women should have mattered to the girls. This is Survivor....not Jersey Shore. I agree w LJ; they should have come prepared to play this game and bring skills to the table - other than begging for shelter and fire. I am not impressed by them at all. |
Did anyone watch last night? |
Yep. Kind of crazy. What really has me intrigued is the snippet from next week. I am about to go check the spoiler forum. :D Don't want to wait. |
I saw it and was shocked ! It was a first....Those men dont mess around do they. But kind of took what should have been a vote based on morals and trust and totally turned it around and voted for someone totally on likeability. |
Colton doesn't mess around! I'd be terrified of that guy! I don't think he came off well from what they showed -- voting someone off because he didn't like him because he was poor. But you never know how bad it was for him and what pushed him to the move. Bottom line is he's a major player in the game. As for the men giving up their immunity, I don't think it's unprecedented. Others have thrown competitions just to vote someone off. This seems like a notch above that when it comes to morality. We'll see how it plays off in terms of whether it was smart. |
