I love seeing the satisfaction in Colton's face when he gets what he wants. And Mike, that's a good point about purposely losing a competition. I agree. It looks like Colton might lose the idol next week?? I wonder if he will become an immediate target.

You'd think so. But he's got some juice with the women's tribe, too, I think, although they haven't shown him interacting with them much lately. He might be able to convince a few in his alliance that he could save them after the merge.

Rumors say there is a tribal swap next week. That might put a hurtin' on Colton's game. I am finished with him after tribal council this week....I thought he made Russell look angelic.

Now that Colton has been perceived as a rich, spoiled brat I don't know if he'll get the votes to win even if he makes it to the end.

Haha. Not sure what he is like in real life, but he sounded like a spoiled brat on Thursday night. And that head roll thing of his has got to go.

The most telling thing about him to me was when he called Leif a munchkin. That really got to me.

That one really bothered DH too, especially when he called him an "oompaloompa". Up til this week, we were convinced Colton was the standout of this season, but this past week really made us disappointed in him. Maybe he will explain some of what he said eventually, but we so far are disappointed.

Yep...that too. I was so disgusted. There is no explanation that will satisfy me.

I watched it and I’m pretty disgusted by it. I’ve never like it when a group has thrown a challenge because they hated a teammate and this is even worse. I’ve never seen a season where a player is so prejudice and he himself comes from a minority of “those who love Yorkies”. I don’t think he’s representing the Yorkie community very well. :p He calls one player “ghetto trash” and another player a “munchkin”. Why is everyone so afraid of him, do they want to take him to the end and because they know nobody will vote for him? I’m also surprised that none of the men suspect Colton’s in cahoots with the women, I don’t think he is, but that move would make it look like it. I hate bullies in any form, and Colton sure seems like a bully to me.

On the other hand, I was very proud of the women team, good for the women for taking the tarp instead of the cupcakes.

If they do a tribal swap it could take the wind right out of his sails.

My prediction is that they are going to turn on him. I cannot believe that all of them could be comfortable with him and his nastiness. I have a strong feeling he might be blindsided....and probably by the women.

WOW...I could not belive that he was saying those things. Colton seems to be, well lets just say a bit of a racist Snob. And thats being nice! From what I saw during the last tribal council Colton really needs to think before he speaks. He's coming across as a spoiled, rich kid who could definitely benefit from some training in diversity.

We shall see.... I hope he proves me wrong!

I wonder if the rules of personal attacks on YT apply to someone who has become a public figure. I've been carefully choosing my words when discussing Colton because he's a member here and unable to defend himself. At the same time, I completely understand the criticism. What do you guys think? Is he fair game?

I don't know. I don't see how it changes discussing his behavior; but what do I know?

It is not like someone is saying something about him that is not public knowledge. He chose to go on a show that is televised. I would think that since he knows Survivor well, he is very aware that everyone would be watching what he does and would comment on his actions as well. My impression of him so far is that he does not care what people think.

Look at the way everyone talked about Russell...would him coming on YT change it? I suppose it is an interesting question...I suppose ask Admin for guidance??

LOL, it's a puzzler, that's for sure. I agree we would be discussing any other past or present Survivor cast member just as frankly. The fact that Colton is likely to come back and see this discussion bothers me. Then again, if we can't say what's on our mind about a reality show, there's no fun in having the thread at all. I will bounce it off admin.

Yeah, probably good to ask Admin. But, I can tell you that our discussion is mild. Go take a look at some of the other sites that are discussing Survivor. They are tearing him UP. If he has thin skin, I would advise him to stay off his computer.

I have no doubt about that. Part of me is disgusted and part of me wants to cut him some slack. He's obviously smart. Maybe he's just playing the villain to further himself in the game.

I say we carry on being open and honest until we hear differently, bearing in mind that, unlike Russell, Colton is quite likely to read what we're saying.

You are a nicer person than I. No slack that I can muster up. I hate any form of discrimination...no matter the "reason".

I got a clarification on the personal attack rule. As long as comments are about the show, in which he's become a public figure, we can be open and honest.

He's become a public figure on one of my favorite shows of all time. I have never miss an episode. He has chosen to go on natational television and say the things that he has. Anyone who watches the show and sees the way he handles himself and the remarks that he makes toward others can make their own assumptions on his character!

I for one while not knowing him personally am amused by him but at the same time am quite disgusted by his remarks.

Win or lose, he's definitely setting himself up for a role on the next heroes and villains episode.

I was real impressed with the guy who was voted off, Bill, I think. He took the high road. Even since he's been off the show, he's not badmouthing Colton and definitely isn't calling him a bigot.

This weeks was a shocker ! The look of shock on Coltons face when they switched teams . . . I think it shocked a lot of players as well.

I dont think that the team Colton is in now is the strongest. They have already lost their first challenge and voted out on of their strongest players. There is still a long road ahead and competitions to be won. Bad move if you ask me. Plus I believe Colton is headed down a road of no return when it comes to playing both sides like he is. They dont take very kindly to that type of betrayal, I fear that once they figure it out he will be gone.

Yep, this season is a bit of a bore to me at this point. I really think that Colton is going to get blindsided...probably after the merge; but you never know. Might be wishful thinking on my part. I don't enjoy watching his hate mongering speeches.

Gotta agree. I thought that was not a smart move for being so concerned about losing the challenges.

DH and I are also dissappointed in this season so far. It does seem like strategy this season is motivated by pettiness instead of thoughtful evaluation of their opponents.

When I think of all the people they have voted off so far, I wish the producers would make a third team of the voted off contestants, and let them kick some a$$! :D

That Tarzan fella is very entertaining simply because he loves to talk a lot but never really says much of anything. LEts hope that he can remember his team mates name long enough to know who to vote out the next time.

I\'ve seen way too much of his "assets" already, looks like Tarzan is in need of a loin cloth..:eek:
