| She had a beautiful voice. Never forget her singing the National Anthem at the Superbowl. Read somewhere that the last song she sang last night was "Jesus Loves Me".

| I saw it on the 11 pm news. Just heartbreaking. I feel so bad for her darling daughter. |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Very sad. Listening to the news this morning and last night hearing many people speaking of how Whitney did many wonderful things in life, it's a shame that all this isn't mentioned more often when people are alive so they can hear and know how much they are loved and thought of in a special way. I often times feel there is too much negative reporting done on celebrities lives, I think it is time news media bring out the best in many of them. My thoughts and prayers for her daughter and Mother, and thanks be to Whitney for the many times of hearing her beautiful voice, especially those that were sung giving praises to the Lord, I listened to many of them on you tube and found them so uplifting. Forever RIP Whitney. Last edited by Baby Blessing; 02-12-2012 at 11:14 AM. Reason: type correction |

| This is so sad. She was my favorite female singer. She had the most incredibly beautiful voice. She was born on my birthday and every year on Aug 9th I would tell my niece that it's me and Whitney's birthday. I will miss her so much.

| And now her daughter is in a medical coma with specialists trying to save her. Here's hoping she makes it, though I heard her family was told to prepare for the worst. Poor baby.

| I saw this yesterday too. That poor troubled child. I don't think she was able to get over her mother's death. I hope she makes it and can get the help she needs.

| I too read that they told the family to prepare for the worst. What a terrible shame and so like her Mother's death, I'm sure an extensive investigation will take place even if she makes it through this.

| OMG how tragic, I don't watch any TV news, nor read papers, so just seeing this. So very, very sad.

| It is so sad. Without breathing or pulse, unless she became a bit hypothermic somehow in that bath water so that her metabolism slowed down, the brain usually has only enough on-board oxygen to survive about 4 minutes before its cells begin to die.

| You know how it is evident that something is just not going to end well??? This infortunate child had two parents that were living fast and loose, drugs and alcohol everyplace....and she grew up surrounded in that environment. When she got a little older, she was carrying on the very same lifestyle, out in public, with the same fast, loose crowd. She never did get any really intense, professional help after her mom died, and it was clearly evident she needed that. Bobby Kristina did not have a snowball's chance in hell.....it was never a question of "if" , just a matter of "when" it would end...no guidance, no help, no stability, no TOUGH LOVE....she did whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted, with whomever she wanted, and she had been raised that way. What a tragic, but clearly predictable outcome. If she was face down in that bath water like they say, or even under water, she is now brain dead, on a ventilator...they are doing the legally required 3 consecutive EEG's that determine drain death, and once they get that, they will do just like Joan Rivers....remove the vent, and may move her to a private room, depending on what the family wants.....she may be gone within minutes of removal of the vent. They may opt for organ donation, although her organs may not be suitable for donating, due to her lifestyle..... I wish someone would have removed this child from her environment and the people she was running with, before she lost her life. Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 02-02-2015 at 11:40 AM. |

| How does one get face-down in a tub - even a large tub? Does an unconscious body rotate itself?

| I've always wondered in cases where a person is found "face down" in a bathtub full of water just how that happens in the course of passing out and going under the water, taking it into the lungs, the person turns face down. I can't imagine the body swirling itself so violently that it turns itself entirely over - especially in a shorter tub that you can't stretch out in - but maybe it's possible as the body fights to breathe.
