Ahh, I haven't used the tank system (although I was thinking of getting something like it) This guy in this video appears to take off a part. Have you seen this one? |
I'm loading the video (slow service). That's what is shown in the instructions but that's not what came in the kit. These are gray and have a flat tip and they don't open. Hope I didn't order the wrong thing. |
This is what I ordered. I don't even see those clear cartridges anywhere. :( http://usa.jantyworld.com/index.php?...art&Itemid=177 |
Ah these are cartomizers. You'll want to stick the tip in the end that's threaded and squeeze the juice in there. Some might come out the little holes on the thread. When that happens blow down into that side by putting your mouth over that whole end past the thread and blow a little. This will distribute it. You don't been to use the atomizer with the cartomizer since the atomizer is built into it. |
LOLOLOL! I'm so sorry!!! The cartomizer is what I ordered? What are those clear plastic things? I thought I was getting a refillable thing. :( I feel like such a dolt. :D I'm still waiting to watch the rest of the video (verizon internet doesn't work so well in the woods) but my kit was slightly different from what I've seen so far. No liquid was included but the wall adapter was. 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, USB charger, wall charger, 5 tank cartridges, carrying pouch and manual was included. |
The clear plastic things on each end are just covers so stuff doesn't get in there during packaging...so, they are basically trash. You can actually use the one that is flat on the inside, (the other has a nipple in it) fill that with some liquid and push the mouth end down into the clear rubber to put the liquid in. The pressure of you pushing the carto down into the rubber part will suck the juice into the cartridge. Here check this video out, it's called the condom filling method heh |
Congrats to you all who quit and are trying to quit. I was a 2 pack a day smoker. My cure was actually getting pregnant and that was over 15 years ago. I know people who use the e-cigs. Some quit and some have cut down dramatically. Good luck and stay strong! :) |
After reading this thread I finally decided to try an e-cig. I read the info on the Intellicig website and decided to order that one. At first I was leary of spending $99.99 on one of their packages but thought if I was going to do this it would be best to have two complete e-cigs. Plus you get both types of chargers and 30 pre-filled cartridges. If the costs scares you I have already paid for this package in my savings on what I would have paid for my cigarettes. By the way they have a website in the USA. Here is the link intellicig-USA.com Buy Intellicig EVO Electronic Cigarette by intellicig, The intelligent e-smoking e-cig alternative.. I ordered mine on March 5th and received it on March 9th, only 4 days. They shipped from CA and I live in WA and the shipping was free. I am a heavy smoker and this e-cigg works very well for me although I still have some real cigs. I'm sure as I get more used to it I will eventually wean myself off of the real thing. I like that it does not produce any second hand smoke and I can breath better. So far I have been able to use it in two restaurants and a blues bar we frequent. Just be sure to ask if it's OK first. |
BTW the directions say not to use outside or while driving. Does anyone know why that is???????? |

Goodness knows why they're saying that - it doesn't say it in the instructions over here! I've been Intellicig-ing in my car for nearly 2 years now, as it would have been one of the places that I used to smoke... And as for not using it outside - well, that's just nuts!! :D Keep going, and good luck! Sally x |
So far I'm very impressed with it but what's rather humorous is keeping track of it. Where did I put my cigarette? In my purse, pocket, car????? |
I use Premium E-cigs and I really like them. They have a really wide range of flavors, and they vary in strength. I've tried a few (a lot of my friends use e-cigs too) and these are the ones that I like best. Starter kit is about $80 I think, and then refill cartridges are 5/$10 or so. I go through 5 cartridges a week, my good friend goes through about 10. I smoke only e-cigs and have for a while and my skin is a lot smoother, I'm a lot better at hiking (don't get shortness of breath nearly as fast), and I have more time to spend with my dog, since I wouldn't smoke normal cigs anywhere near her. Also, if you do go with premium, I recommend the black battery, as the finish is easier to grip than the basic white one. the light is also blue instead of red, which I prefer. There won't be an option, just write it in the shipping instructions and they'll give you the black instead of white. They did it for me and for my friend :) good luck |

I sometimes wish it was like one of those key fobs you can buy, when you clap your hands and it beeps!! :D Sally x |

Couple of things I remember....some people actually refill while driving...dumb (just don't do it). At night the light on the ecig resembles a cell phone light. Some states you cannot use a cell while driving. During the day someone got pulled over because the cop thought the person was using a pipe. That's about all I can think of :) |
