We don't really handle our pictures now, just let them sit until they dry and then put them straight into a glass frame. Our biggest problem is quite a few of the pictures show lines across them from printing. Not subtle ones, but pretty noticeable ones! My Epson printer says that when lines are showing, it heads need aligning. Does your printer come with a maintenance program option? Here's a picture of what mine looks like. It can also indicate clogged nozzles, and you do a test for this to be sure.

We have a Canon Pixma...and I like it. I don't know that it would be of good quality for an invitation though. It's been pretty user friendly; we had an HP and for some reason, it didn't work very well with our desktop (like it didn't stay connected properly or...?).

Ann, my fiance has been looking at the Canon Pixma. Is it wireless? We pretty much plug in our printer when we need it, because the cord has to stretch across the room lol... we have a tiny nook we decided to put our office in, and it's not really the best setup!

We're really not too picky about the invitations. They will go on someone's fridge for a month and then get thrown in the garbage! We bought them already and just need to download the program to design them and print them, so I just want to make sure they're not all smudgy right out of the printer. Other than that, if it's legible and printed straight, it's good enough for me!

Nancy, I'm not sure if mine has anything like that. All I've been able to get it to do is print a test page! I can check for more options when I get home. It's almost a decade old and I got it for free with a laptop lol.

I have a Canon Pixma as well, and I like it a lot. Mine is wireless, and has the all-in-one functions - it's very useful.
