Thank you everyone, I seriously see a change already...My mom just ate her first full meal in weeks...She usually took bites and got very full quicky. This is my best Christmas present, I am the only child...and no matter how grown you think you are, there is nothing like your mom...Sorry to get so emotional, but I have been taking care of my mom since she was first diagnosed with asbestos. Doctors told us of all the worse things that could happen, but I tell you what there is nothing like the power of prayer.

That's great!! I know how you feel. We got similar good news this week.

My FIL was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer this spring, and after a rough touch-and-go-summer, he went to the doctors this week, and they couldn't even see any of the tumors!!

He's going to his second opinion doctor at Sloan next Tuesday, but so far they've concurred on everything else, so I think it's looking good!!

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this alone if you ever want to vent, or need anything, please don't be afraid to let me know. I've know what it's like sitting and waiting in hospitals!

God bless your mom, and tell her there are LOTS of prayers out there for her!

Just an update.....

My mom got her test results back and they were benign, and all is completely well!!

I just seen this thread but that is wonderful news. I am glad your mother is well. Mothers are the most important things in life. What would we do without our mothers.
