Any other PURSE lovers out there?
 
My fiance and I just came back from a weekend in Marysville, WA. We went to the Tulalip Casino, but I mainly went for the Seattle Premium Outlet Mall. I'm a Coach purse fanatic. I now own 8 or 10 Coach purses, in all different colours, styles, and fabrics. I can spend as much on a purse as I would on a wedding dress! I look at them online all the time and I can't seem to NOT buy something in the Coach store.

Any other YT'ers that have this "problem"???

Oh yes me me! I have so many Coach purses and products, Juicy purses, Dooney and a Burberry. Baby has an adorable Juicy pink velour hoodie! My sister gave me a Coach iPad case for Christmas. I'm a label whore it's ridiculous.

I have 6 Coach purses... Im just about done with Coach. I bought a D&B bag but I find it WAY too heavy. I'm going to be saving my pennies for a Michael Kors leather bag, my aunt has one I love, and I want something similar.

I am too! LOL Sometimes I feel ashamed of myself! But I realize I like the quality, I have no kids, I work hard for my money, my boys (dogs) are well taken care of, I pay all my own bills, own my own house, so I guess if I have the leftover, then it's mine to do what I want with!

Aw you guys are lucky, I've always wanted a coach purse. I love this one, but DH told me NO way I can spend that money on it :(

Exactly the same thing I think! I have kids, but they've never wanted for anything. My purses are my "reward" for working hard. I work full time and I've been in part time school for over 10 years getting my accounting designation and an undergrad commerce degree. My handbag shopping is my form of retail therapy to recover from stress once in a while.

Outlet mall!!! On my recent weend at the outlet mall I picked up a purse that was originally $358 for $98. It was sooooo sweet!

That is true, I can never find good ones there- I am really picky. Plus if I am going to spend that much money on a purse I want people to know its real- There are soooo many fakes out there you cant really tell its a real coach or LV or whatever unless you know the purses.. :rolleyes: I don't think its for me. :aimeeyork

That's the beauty of the outlet store. It IS real, because it is an actual Coach store - you're just getting a deal because those purses are not being sold in the current season. I would, however, stay away from eBay. I doubt there is one REAL purse on that site. They're all fakes.

Personally, I have to know my handbags are original brand names. As long as I know it's real, I don't worry about what others think.

Loooveee purses!!! I have 2 coach purses. One of those purses, I've had for oh gosh like 10 years so they definitely last. My boyfriend's mom got me a coach passport case and a coach laptop case as well. I decided to lay off on the Coach brand for a bit so I had my boyfriend get me a Michael Kors tote for Christmas. They were selling it at Ross for over half off. Haven't used it just yet but I think I'm going to save it for when I start my new job. Next purse I've been looking at is a black leather Tory Burch hobo bag. My sister has one that she got with the money her MIL gave her for her birthday. It is so cute!

I'm also obsessed with shoes. I wear my Tory Burch snowboots every single day - rain or shine. I want to get a pair of Tory Burch flats and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels. Oh how I wish I made a lot more money to afford my addiction haha


Edit: Oh completely forgot that my next purse, after my tax refund comes in, is definitely going to be a Louis Vuitton tote. My sister has this one as well. We basically copy off of each other when it comes to designers haha

The only way to know for sure is to buy directly from Coach or a chain store like Macy's, Bloomies, etc. NO purse parties sell authentic items. The companies don't allow it.

You can actually get real on eBay believe it or not. I have. But...you have to have a trained eye. Students and teachers have come to me to authenticate their Coach. Lol I can tell without even touching it. I always say u sure u wanna know? I hate hurting their feelings.

I like to play find the fake Coach when I'm out too. I'll go to whomever I'm with...see that "Coach"? Fake. Lol

Uuuummm... I think that is a pic of a fake Coach!

There are some YouTube videos about how to tell the fake ones. Very eye-opening!

I am a Coach-aholic. I have 5 of them. But I love Juicey and Dooney and Burke as well. My new addiciton is from a local designer that my mom sells at her gift shop.

I like others as well, but I can afford Coach :D I really like a lot of Michael Kors handbags, and some others. But even at the outlet mall the Michael Kors bags are too pricey for me. I'm not a big Louis Vuitton fan, but I don't want to spend that much on a purse anyway. Same with brands like Gucci and Prada. Nice, but FAR out of my league!!

I adore purses as well! I have had my eye on a Coach purse for quite some time, but haven't gave in yet. My husband said to just do it already, but I feel bad. I may be close to giving in. LOL.

I feel the same way!! I want people to know it's real if I paid that much for a purse! I felt like a snob saying that... but I am done with Coach... too many kids with knock offs... there are tons of flea markets around here that sell the knock offs for super cheap so everyone around here carries Coach.

Lol im done with coach too, and I never started lol. I get sick of purses to fast too- so if I did have one I would have to use it forever, my 50$-100$ purses can sit in my closet till I'm ready to go back to them lol :0)

You are my kind of girls! I LOVE purses!!! I'm a Coach addict. Of course, for special occasions/holidays, the husband just goes to the Coach store. I got a powder pink leather bag (forget the name) for Christmas from him. Of course, I have been so sick this January I haven't been out to wear it. :(

Yup. I just got a coach bag for Christmas. Now I want a coach cover for the iPad. Someone help me :rolleyes:

I am a Dooney snob! I like the all weather leather ones, so I have to go on Ebay to find a New with tag bag. Usually get them for about 1/2 of new price..

I used to really be into bags. I have several.. some real and some the AAA quality fakes. I used to sell on ebay too. I stopped because it was just too much headache! I never meant to sell fakes, but I am sure some of them were because I though I was buying "seconds" to resell and learned better.
I will be honest, it was almost impossible to tell unless you purchased your self from a major retailer!
The coach at the outlets are reasonable - well better than LV or Channel :eek:
I still use some of the "classics"

Now I have a yorkie to spend my money on lol

I just love my Miche bag:)
Never owned a Coach or a Louis Vitton - can't justify the expense.
But I love being able to change the cover on the Miche, and when we go on our yearly cruise I can take "several different bags"as it is just a case of changing the cover:)

I know about fakes. It is very easy to tell the difference. Most of the time you can use your nose to smell it. :p

This one is def fake. The tag is wrong. The end of the zipper is out instead of "hidden" and Coach always photos their bags really stuffed and super "square" if that makes sense. I don't think they made one like this either.

Every once in a while the Neiman Marcus or Saks outlets will have some of the big name bags there. Neiman's you will have more luck. Or directly from the Premium outlets. I got a few Dior bags there, and they have Gucci, Burberry, Versace, everything except LV. LV does not have seconds for sale in outlets. All their seconds and past seasons are available to LV employees only for a very limited time and quantity and the remaining is destroyed.
