Actually, I will be honest with u, I have one. Sister gave me it for Christmas. Not only is it a snug fit, the camera doesn't line up properly and there is no magnet to shut of the iPad or keep the case shut. It's also very stiff. I wouldn't recommend it. When I first got my iPad2 I looked on amazon and bought a Casecrown case (link below). Perfect fit and awesome case for $25 and free shipping. So I use that at home and Coach if I "go out".

I will be honest, it was almost impossible to tell unless you purchased your self from a major retailer!
The coach at the outlets are reasonable - well better than LV or Channel
I still use some of the "classics"

Now I have a yorkie to spend my money on lol

Oh I know exactly what you mean! I think Geno has more new clothes than what I bought all year and that's huge!!! lol My once a month shopping sprees haven't happened in a long time. Kind of depressing but I love seeing his face light up when I get him a new toy or new treat :)

We use the CaseCrown cases for our Iphones. So far, we really like them. Nice fit, durable.

I think there are lots of really "good" fake handbags out there. When I first started buying purses I was using eBay, thinking I was getting a deal. It wasn't until I was doing some marketing research for a course that I realized that almost all the handbags I bought from eBay are fake  So, I'm re-starting my collection, getting rid of all the eBay purses. My fiance knows that Coach gift cards are a sure way to make me happy for special occasions!

There are no Coach outlet stores in BC, but I think there is one in Ontario. I am lucky enough to live a few kms from the US border, so in about an hour I can get to the outlet store in Burlington, and it's only another half hour from there to the Seattle outlet mall. There are lots of Coach regular retail stores in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, but I really can't bring myself to pay full price!!

Don't get rid of all the purses unless u know they are fake. Bring them to a Coach store for authentication.

Trust me, I know the fake ones are fake. I have 3 that I am fairly certain are real and will probably keep them and have them authenticated; if they're fakes they're extremely high quality.

This is why I swore off eBay!! I may not get the latest style at the outlet store, but I will get a good deal on a REAL Coach. Often LESS than I might have paid for a fake on eBay. I just picked up a purple leather Coach Madison for $98 at the outlet store - retails for $358. On eBay the same style is being listed for $250-$350.

Oh the outlet is the way to go! I don't care about last years model either! Years ago I walked into the Coach store in the mall with a "last year model". the girl was like, "oh that's last years blah blah (forgot name)". She may have been flaunting her knowledge, but I wanted to say, shut up, bitch. Lol

Teresa1965 01-25-2012 11:00 AM

Now your talking my lanaguage. lol. I have probably about 6 Coach purses but my prized purse I have been carrying for over a year now is the Speedy Louis Vuitton. I just love it a special gift from my husband. :aimeeyork

I'd love a LV. when I go back to France in 2013 I may have to splurge.

I have plenty of the fake stuff (over 12 bags) but only one real Coach (wristlet) that was a gift from my sister. There is an outlet not to far away in Dayton OH that we have been to. My daughter bought her first Coach there and we have been dying to return.

I cant see spending that kind of money but Show me where the "Clearance" table is any time....

Cute story:

We were on our way home from KY when we decided to stop at the outlet store. My husband knew how excited I was to finally get the chance to get a real Coach bag. Daughter and I went this way he and our son went that way. We took forever shopping trying to find just the right bargain. With no luck, cuz I'm cheep and I know my husband would have a sh*t FIT, I passed. Meanwhile still looking my hubby comes in, looks around checks out a few of the price tags and walked away and left the store!!

On the other hand my daughter bought herself a bargain bin Coach bag with her own money. She was very excited! So, I though Hmm this is a good opportunity to pull on over on my husband. I tool the shopping bag and held it behind my back as we walked along in search of him so that we could see his reaction. It was a fun time! I was surprised that he didn't say anything. Just shook his head... I was disappointed by his reaction, I expected more. Cant say I didn't try...

BabyFidgette 01-25-2012 11:31 AM

lol I kinda did that when I got Baby. I brought her in a little bag to show my mom. She didnt have her glasses on and was like, what is that? I said, a dog. She said, is it real? Loll, yes! Whose is it? Mine! Lmao!!

I remember when we did that with my dad when we got him a Schnauzer for his birthday.

All their seconds and past seasons are available to LV employees only for a very limited time and quantity and the remaining is destroyed.

Wow! Talk about being snooty. They'd rather the LV purses be destroyed (and probably lose money) than let a poor snob like me buy one? (well not me personally. I'm not a fan)

DJDB 01-25-2012 12:09 PM

I like some of the LV that doesn't have "LV" all over the bags. But, I am not paying $2000 or more for a handbag. If I did it would be empty cuz I'd be broke!!

I know several ladies that purposefully buy knock offs of Prada and LV, but I could never do that. I don't do fake diamonds or fake purses!! And I love both equally. :D

Several years ago a friend gave me a "Kate Spade" purse for my birthday.
Several months later the "Kate Spade" fell off the bag - it had been glued on!
My friend had bought it in New York while visiting her mother. She apparently bought it on Canal Street.

111lily222 01-25-2012 07:35 PM

I must admit. I am a purse whore:eek: I have 2 Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Burberry, and for christmas my dh got me Marc by Marc Jacobs Love it!! The sad thing is my daughter has turned into one also, she has a Coach, Louis Vuitton's, and a couple of Juicy coutures. I guess there are worse things in life to be addicted to :p

Wow, that's crazy! Canal Street is quite the experience. I went to NYC for the first time 3-4 years ago with friends for spring break and we were immedietly bombarded by a little asian man and told to follow him. So shady haha I got a Coach purse that I never carry anymore and a Coach wallet that basically fell apart in a week. So sad.

And she is a native New Yorker so she must have known it was a fake.

I look at them online all the time and I can't seem to NOT buy something in the Coach store.

Any other YT'ers that have this "problem"???

Funny, I was just having this discussion with my sister...my Mom loves a new shirt. Good Lord, she has a slew of them. My sister loves skirts. My Niece loves shirts too...me? i have a purse issue. Nothing gets me more giddy then a great purse! Better yet, a great purse at a great price!!

Too many

I, too, am a purse fiend. I have close to 50+ bags dating all the back to the original black leather Stewardess bag and my all time favorite - the leather duffle. Oh, I was so envied in high school. lol

I have a few Gucci's and a couple Louis Vuitton's, Dooney, MK, Burberry, Chanel, Fendi, Prada - the list goes on. I find myself peaking at Gucci's website from time to time to catch a sale. tee hee

DH used to fuss about my purse fetish but now doesn't raise an eyebrow when I come with a new Coach bag. He jokingly calls it the poor man's designer bag. But he admits he'd rather have me spend a few hundred dollars on 2-3 Coach bags than spend it on ONE Louis. I look at him and say "Honey, you are sooooo right" ;) and then skip off to the bedroom.

FYI~Yorkie Haven Rescue is having a Valentine Raffle that is going on right now. There is a Coach purse and also Key fob as prizes. When we had a raffle for the Houston dog show there were (I believe) 6 Coach purses. If you want to take a chance for a Coach purse of your dreams here's a link to the raffle. ;)

Yorkie Haven Rescue

Also, if you go to the Coach website and sign up for their email they send coupons ALL THE TIME for additional % off at the outlet and have on line sales too.

Im with you on that one! :) No fake diamonds and no more fake purses. I also will not pay more than $20 for a pair of shoes that are not leather. I see plastic boots for $120.... are you kidding me??? I got a BEAUTIFUL pair of leather boots at Macys, Born brand for $165 (way too much in my opinion), I waited, used coupons and ended up getting them for $65! Way better quality for way less than the plastic ones.

Hey sometimes I go to Wilson's leather and they have these Italian Leather pocketbooks for about $80, but at the outlet, they are about $20. You cannot beat them for quality and leather smell. The color range was pretty good, but the style was kind of plain. I did well though and carried those for many many years, was always very happy with them... plenty of pockets, plenty of room w/o being too big, always had the matching wallets too. I'm a sucker for the matching wallet! LOL

sophias mommy 01-26-2012 07:26 AM

I absolutely love love love handbags too! I'm a big fan of coach and michael kors. They do have one online authentic retailer of coach outlet stuff. They send an email out about once every two months for a "48 hour sale". They have the exact same purses that they have in the outlets!! So even though you have to pay for shipping, it saves a trip.

I'm in agreement Bobbi... it's the great price on the great purse that really makes me smile :D I'm all about good deals for good quality.

LOL... my problem now is that my fiance encourages me WAY too much. On our recent trip to the outlet store I found two purses that I wanted (which I had gift cards to cover). He then practically FORCED me to buy two more that I had expressed interest in!! He said if I didn't buy them he would buy them for me. It sounds great, but that's like throwing crack at a crack addict. I love it at the time but regret my weakness later. :(
