that was so very nice of them.
I have to tell you a story. every time i see roses i think of this.
Bob has never been the romantic type. giving flowers were not in is head, at all. so one day i called the florist and asked them to send a bouquet to his workplace. they say "that is so very nice of you, would you like to add a card to go along with it?". "yes please" I said. "and what would you like the card to say?". "Just put on it 'THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE!'".
and you know ....it worked! I soon got a dozen roses sent to my work place. Of course those were the last ones i ever got.

LDenise, sometimes husbands just need a jump start, lol! That reminds me of what my hubby does. I have collected bears for years. Well, the ones that I spend money on are the artist bears, Boyd's bears, etc. They're more expensive but those are the ones I add to my collection. Several years ago I politely told him not to buy me any bears, that I only wanted certain ones and I have reminded him of it over the years. To me, $10-15 for a cheap one is a waste. But, faithfully, every birthday, mother's day, etc. I get a bear. I just smile and say "Oh how cute!", then go find a place for it. Husbands, gotta luv 'em!

By the way, Turbo says thanks for the roses too. He likes them. He told me the one he ate was quite tasty! Yup, he did try one. He's OK, so I guess rose petals aren't toxic. What a brat!

My husband brings me flowers now & then,& they are amazing ...

One year he bought me a dozen Red Roses, comes in the door,i say whoes garden did you get them outa......it was our Anniversary & i tottally forgot all about it
