| USPS Slow! I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but boy has first class mail slowed way down. I googled it and sure enough I'm not crazy! (well not about this) Here is what I found about it. Cuts to first-class mail to slow USPS delivery in 2012 | abc7news.com I just wanted to share for those of us that order from vendors and know usually how long it takes to get something. I thought my package was lost for a while and come to find out it one day for each town!

| I noticed that too. By the time they update the status on a package, it's arrived! One pkg sat in Texas for 3 weeks. I thought they had closed the PO.

| I bought something online on December 17th and it didn't get here until Jan 10th and it was postmarked the 17th and was shipped 1st class. I guess if you are ordering for a gift you better order a month ahead

You know they may have. Seems that's what is happening everywhere. The town over from us just closed theirs so guess where everyone has been coming.

| Priority mail is slowing down too. I am overseas with an APO/FPO address so when I order online, it has to be delivered by the USPS. Boxes shipped priority used to be here in 4-8 days depending on where they were shipped from (except during December when the volume of mail goes way up over here and everything takes longer). Now things are taking 2 weeks or more. I'm not sure if it is from changes in the postal service or if the military mail is still catching up from the holiday mail. Parcel post is awful 4-8 weeks. I had one take 10; by the time it arrived, I had forgtten I ordered it. |

| I have certainly noticed that as well. It's very frustrating.

| Yes, and they are losing packages as well. I ordered some earrings for my best friend's Christmas gift, to be sent to her PO Box, on Dec 14th. The tracking says that it arrived on the 19th. She got neither a package or a delivery slip for her to pick up the package at the service desk It wasn't returned to the Amazon seller, either. Someone there evidently has sticky fingers

| I've noticed this as well. I rarely use USPS to ship anything, but definitely notice the difference in delivery times when I am waiting to receive something.
