| Anyone bid on Penny Auctions? I do, and I love them. I've won a lot of great things for cheap: 60" Plasma TV, Dyson vacuum, toaster, toaster oven, knives, video camera, cordless phone, Margaritaville concoction maker, 32" TV, lots of gift cards, Dyson Fan, Four iPads, and I can go on.... So, anyone bid on them? If so, which ones? I like Quibids the best, but am a member at a lot. I use the same name on the auctions (BabyFidgette). Below is a pic of my 60" TV. In those two big boxes for Xmas were other things I won (Wine fridge and Rotissere). Also, if you decide to join please let me know and I can PM you a link (I get free credits). If you want to know more, just ask! Many people think they are a scam. Most are, some are not.

| I joined one place (can't remember which) but I was highly disppointed bc they showed cameras on their propaganda pages but when I got to the actual auctions I couldn't find camera one.

| Yeah, there are a lot of sites that buy a pre made script for a penny auction. These have all the pictures on them like cameras, tvs, iPads, etc. Then they go and sell crap! You want an auction where you can see the stuff before buying bids!

| I did try Quibids once, but was very disappointed in their "penny" auctions, which I think is false advertising. They don't tell you that for every "penny" bid you place, that bid costs 60 cents (so that "$84" iPad winning price actually collected over $5K in bids!). Also, I could never win, even on the small items. They set a time limit, but if a higher bid is placed within so many seconds of the auction's end, the time resets (to a minute or two I think?). If you have any tips and tricks you'd care to share, I'd love to hear, since I would not mind giving it another shot if I could possibly win something. BTW, CONGRATS on all of your winning - you really cleaned house!
