Donating YT 500 Club Member | Looking into an Ipad.. any thoughts? I really want a tablet. Bad. My Birthday is the end of April and I am saving to get one for myself I have been looking at few others but I really drawn to the IPad. If you have one what are your thoughts??? I don't currently have an Apple Product other then my IPod.. but I will admit I want one I really am just using it for entertainment. So I am thinking the smallest memory one 16g will suit my needs. Are their any other Tablets that you like? If you have an IPad.. do you like it or wish you had something else?

| I waited for the longest time before getting the iPad and I LOVE it. Other than work I never use my laptop anymore. I am on this constantly, from watching my tv shows that I miss, to playing games etc., even viewing the blogs. The number of apps that are available is mind blowing. You can't go wrong. |

| I've wanted one but decided to go with the Galaxy Android tab and I love it. I got it for 199.99 on Woot.com. You may want to keep a daily eye on this site for a good deal on IPad for when they have them. The android OS is excellent though. Tons of Apps too

| I have the lowest cost iPad and I like it. I am a big fan of Apple products so the decision for me was just whether I wanted a tablet at all. Once I decided I did, I only considered the iPad.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and I absolutely love it. It was the same price as the iPad, but the Apple version does not have Flash (the Samsung does) so if that is important to you for playing games, watching movies, etc. you may want this one instead. Other than that, they are both very comparable. My husband has the HP Touchpad - this one is heavier, has 32 gb of storage compared to the 16 gb of mine, and no Flash. This one runs on WebOS instead of Android - so not nearly as many aps, but for under $200, it is really great - so simple to use. I would recommend either. Bottom line is - no matter which one you choose, you are going to love it.

| I have the iPad2. I don't love it. It does not have Flash! uugghhh and it does not work well with my 'typical' wireless router. I may need to buy a stronger, newer router because its driving me crazy! The laptops and iPods all connect to the wireless no problem, but the iPads do not and my bro had a Macbook that wouldn't stay connected either. That is my biggest complaint with the iPad and I wish it had Flash player. I would look into an Android tablet if I was getting something else. I wish I looked into that more first actually. For over $800 I paid for the iPad, I think I would have been really happy with an Android tablet like Sonys for under $500.

| Yes, no flash STINKS. But, Like I said, watch woot.com for when they have their tablet deals...nothing like almost half off to justify the purchase :P

| I've been wanting a tablet for awhile (if ipad had flash support, I would get it), but am patiently waiting for the new Toshiba AT200...crossing fingers that it will be upgraded to ice cream sandwich.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | My DH bought me one so that I could use it during his treatments. He never used a computer before but it quickly became his Ipad. lol I have a mac book that I love and an I phone and use them mostly. I must say my DH started out using it for the Ipod and games, then started going on the internet and he quickly learned how to use it with having no prior computer experience. It's nice to have when we are at the treatment center etc but at home I prefer my laptop. I would not want it as my only computer.
