I know what you mean when you say flat. I have been trying with the hair. I think more contrast would be good. I'm leaving this one as a sketch. I will go back and add more detail. Also my sketchbook leaves an open crack on the scanner and it puts shadows in there. Maybe I should take a picture??

Those are terrific. Makes me wish I could draw more than Yorkie stick figures.

Ha ha ha you got me there! You are a nut!! Anyone can draw. Anyone can become an artist. It just takes practice and some instruction.

You are funny!! I thought, "What not this again!!" until I saw the just kidding. I have been working on sketching using detail and I just can't get it down yet. I need more contrast, but don't want to ruin the integrity. I am working now on trying to make it look 3D so it doesn't look so flat.

Please post your yorkie portraits so I can get some inspiration, whether you think it's good or stick figure looking.
Please send any good pictures to me and if I sketch it, It's yours, well a copy. I like to keep the original. Not because I photoshop it!!
