I have read the poem I posted many times - read it again this morning and again - tears ....

I have a very hard time in the winter thinking of all those poor poor dogs outside in the elements - then in the heat of the summer ...they NEVER should be living like this

We all need to keep protesting the Sale of dogs in Pet Stores - thats the first step in cutting down on this horrific problem in this country.

V~ I was talking to a woman last night that works across the street from the Buckeye Dog Auction , and they have it in the heart of Amish country, and she said they have them out on truck loaded on top of each other waiting to go into the AUction, hoping for the highest bidder,, she said it was freezing cold and the wind was unreal and there they sat,, waiting to be shipped off to a Nice warm PET STORE!! I think I'm gonna make a trip out there this Sat, and see what I can see, and I might even see if I can go in and see how the auction works and how many people attend, and who they are,, and get some pic's outside,,, Im sure it will be a horrible day for me,,but I think if I see it,, it will make it real for me,, I hear these things and because I love and care for animals they way I do,,, It is so hard for me to believe it, I know its true, I guess I just wanna see it with my own two eyes,, and how severe it is in my area,,, the fact that they have this Dog auction every Sat, ( which I didnt know) Tells me how bad it is! It has to be STOPPED!!

Oh boy - I've talked to people that have been to the auctions and yes they are HORRIBLE but also - where the dogs are coming from is even worse - the whole process is just DISGUSTING.... and be careful - these people know they're doing something terrible and are always on the lookout for those who want to help these dogs -

Just keep your eyes open and don't get into any confrontations - I think it's a great idea to see for yourself - but I hope you can live with what you see because there really isn't anything you can do when you're there....
