My furkids Donating Member | looking for a papillon puppy As you may know our 19yr old Maine Coon took his journey over Rainbow Bridge this past Monday. Even with the furgirls our home feels empty. I was thinking about getting another furry friend. Eric (hubby) said he didn't want another because no cat could every take his place. He said he would rather get another furbutt...well he didn't have to say that twice to me! I LOVE all the small breeds and have always wanted to add a papillon to our family. I have been researching this breed and they seem like very happy healthy little furballs who don't have a lot of genetic health issues. Sadie and Lillie are not big girls so I feel the papillon will be a great fit. I was going to join the pap forum but you have to pay...! I am looking for a breeder close to mass....maybe new hampshire, maine, vermont...will do a day travel to buy one....anyone here know of a GOOD breeder? Thank you everyone! needless to say we are VERY excited about this!

| I have no idea about the papillion. I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear your Maine Coon has gone to the Bridge. I had one years ago and I agree w you - they are wonderful cats. I never replaced mine either. I hope you find a wonderful papillion!

| I LOVE Papillons. I had a few breeders bookmarked around here but too far from you probably. Did you check this out? Welcome to the Papillon Club of America And yeah, there are no Papillon forums. There are other dog forums though that have a lot of Pap owners.

| They are beautiful and smart pups. I have a friend who has three Papillions and they are so funny. Very different temperament than my Levi, but very sweet. The only thing I couldn't deal with is the shedding. Good luck in your search for a breeder, and very sorry to hear about your Maine Coon. |
