| They just started playing Christmas Music. Ours goes up the day after Thanksgiving, and down the day after New Year. I should say Marge does all the work, I just carry up the tree and all the darn boxes. Bah Humbug |

| We put our up a step at a time. It goes vertical one day, then over the next few days I open a container and see what is in it. Its kind of fun to see what is inside and decide where things are going. I bought Mina a "Baby's first Christmas" its a stork, pink of course and the stork is carrying a puppy in its blanket. I have 2 gifts left to purchase and then I can wrap. I have friends that leave their tree up all year and change the ornaments for each holiday,I dont have that kind of room here. |

| We arent putting up our big christmas tree. It is just too big and a pain to bring up from the basement and stuff. Ive got a smaller occasion tree that I put lights on all year and we are just going to use that. Im gonna bring out my lighted houses though. I dont know I just dont feel like dealing with the tree this year

| I looooveee decorating as early as possible! Of course I don't own my own home yet but I do my part in bringing out the holiday spirit, hehe! I used to LOVE going to get a real tree but unfortunately, my stepdad is sooo allergic to pine. We tried last year and he had a huge attack. The tree ended up outside on our porch, haha. So we are resorted to fake trees every year and my other family all switched to fake trees too and it makes me so sad When I move out, I can't wait to get my own first real tree! Oh and I have so already started listening to Christmas music, LOL!

| I went to our Bloom grocery store tonight and saw live Christmas trees outside and gifts inside. Those trees will be toast before Christmas! Our Walmart usually has Santa and Frosty standing alongside all of the Halloween characters.

| The tree goes up the day before, the night of or the day after Thanksgiving - depending upon energy levels.

| I love Dept 56 Ive just discovered them on ebay. I collect lemax Christmas some regular some sugar and spice, fall and their spooky town for Halloween. I love their lighted houses and I even have some I leave out all year. I used to scour ebay looking for an unusual new one to buy. Now I just dont have anywhere else to put any so I dont buy them but I love to look at them
