How about a complaint about a female

Marge takes my car yesterday to drive downtown as it is larger than hers and she had some people to pick up along the way. This morning I notice a nice big dent in my front driver door that was not there the day before. Naturally she had no idea how it got there. One month ago, the same thing happened. Good thing for Dentbusters. To top it off, I get in the car, start it up, and the Low Fuel Warning light comes on! I could write a book about females and Cars! My daughter years ago backed down the driveway and hit a car parked on the street. She comes back in abd blames the other car! Almost as good as when she backed thru the garage door! Must be genetics! As you guys would say, rant done!

Ha ha, and you are supposed to say, "I'm just glad you're okay!" Really, it's no urban legion that there is some kind of virus going around that makes huge dents in your car, for some reason it only attracted to the female driver. I think the TV show 60 minutes did a special about it, or was it “Supernatural”?

I think a lot of women are like me, they get caught up in conversation and forget they are driving, where men never really get caught up in conversation, unless it's sports maybe.

You guys often take care of and polish your vehicles to such an extent that they are as shiny & irresistible as diamonds to us, that we just can help wanting to play with them.

My son drove his Jeep home from college last night (cos he had to fly out for a funeral this morning) and it is sitting in my driveway just beckoning me to take it for a spin. But my greatest fear is anything happening to it while I'm driving...so I'm always torn between taking it out or just leaving it be. But he did leave the keys on the counter for me....surely that's a sign? Thanks for the reminder about the gas level....that way he's sure not to know it ever moved from the driveway :D.

Backing up is hard! The other day I was at the mall and someone kept honking and I didn't realize it was for me until I hit the car behind me. Something about being in reverse just makes me not know how to drive, lol. Hopefully your daughter has gotten better at it :)

You deserve to be able to complain about females after listening to all of us on YT. Ha. :D

Seriously, there is a new dent in my car and I have no idea how it got there. My husband thinks I am lying. :eek: Can you believe that?

I must agree w you about a generic statement about female driving habits. When I was a teenager, I backed out of the driveway right into a fire hydrant. When an adult, I had a migraine, drove to the store, when I came home I ran into the side of the garage door opening. My stepfather used to tell me he needed to be curb-feelers on my car. (I can really do a number on a nice rim too!)

Not at all! You just reminded me about how many passanger side front and rear wheels I had to have repaired at $100 a pop! If I knew I would not break out crying, I would tell you what she did to my new 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner, and I still went ahead and married her!

Ha ha!! Ok, leave it to Steve! :p:p I am guilty of the car issues. Let's see...flat tires, hitting the Walmart Huge Yellow pole, :eek:, bumping the front wall in the garage, cracking the windshield. Ha ha. Gosh! I forgot about how I am high maintenance when it comes to vehicles!!! Point taken.

When I first got married my husband let me drive his "prized" camaro. After I left tire marks in the street he never let me drive it again!! :rolleyes: After I had my first child I made him get rid of it because I was not going to have my son in that fast car.:D

No doubt somebody dented the cardoor when she was in the mall and she never even noticed it when she came out and got in, she was in such a hurry to get home to you!

i've been in one accident in my life. it was because i took a gravel road i didn't know in a hurry to get to school one day and it had just rained. wiped out on a 90 degree corner...but other than that i'm good to my cars. i was raised around boys though and am a tom boy and a car lover. not quite the ditsy woman driver...

Poor fella! Having to listen to nothing but female ranting on YT would make any guy want to rant. Go ahead and rant. You've earned it!:D

I would like to apologize for my half of the human race. I dont even like the way most women drive. I drove a 15passenger van for 11yrs,could park it anywhere. I still chose to park it out in the lots. Now I drive a tiny mustang and am invisible amongst the big pickup trucks here in TX.
NOONE drives my stang,except my husband and he paid for it. I dont drive my husbands 3/4 ton truck cause I just dont like to.
If I did put a dent or scratch in my hubby's truck I would certainly tell him. As for the gas thing. The rule is "if you kill it fill it".

I am an awesome driver. Bf always brings back our commuter car with no gas! But when I was a teenager I did do a fee horrible things to my 67 mustang, only to end up killing it. :( at least most of you don't have to deal with Asian drivers on a daily basis. My mom is one of the worst!

Ha Ha I am also bad about denting up My Husbands van which is very big and I am used to driving a tiny jeep wrangler. You and Him could share stories

I have a friend that says her kids "drive by feel" It drives her DH crazy!

Drive by feel? Is that were they check the curb alot?

Don't add me in that group! If there is anything in this world I love doing it's sitting behind the wheel of my car. :) I'm the kind of person that will park my car in the farthest parking spot, to reduce the chances of getting a ding. I'm lucky no one wants to walk. ;) I'd rather not have passengers, too many distractions and I can't enjoy the drive as much. And, I've learned the best way to park my car, and my trucks, is to back up into any parking spot. For my car, I save the underside of the fender (it's a low car) and the trucks... well I do it because most people don't think I can handle such a big truck. :p

Have I told you about the time my dad asked me to save his parking spot for him? I got behind him, at a safe distance. He knew I was there and still rammed his truck into my car! GGRRRRR!!! It happens. I payed to have the car repaired myself. My dad was having surgery and he was stressed about tying up loose ends at work and didn't realize how hard he hit the gas peddle. Can't be too mad at him. He's my hero.

My mom will rant about me and her precious pots... Apparently, I'm suppose to buff them before putting them away. :rolleyes: They're just pots and they're clean! It's sad. I care more about my car than I do her pots, and she cares more about her pots than she does my car. We all have our preferences I guess.

Does this mean I have to tell my brother not to procreate? He's done that 3 times already and drive like Mr Magoo. :p

Here is a memorable one. 1973. I just bought a new car for her in North Carolina before I deployed for an exercise in the Med. Gas crisis at the time. Not for Marge. She put Diesel in a gas burning engine. I got back, car was running a bit funny! She still laughs at that, I still cry.

I hate to admit it, but I am a terrible driver. At least I only hit stationary objects, and not people.

I DO have an excuse - I didn't get a license until I was 28, and even now I don't drive all that frequently. I probably have less driving experience than most 20 years olds.
