I 'borrowed' a boyfriend's car (about 35 years ago btw! :)) went too fast round a bend and ended up going through a shop window - sitting there amongst the televisions  They were all on, but I can't remember what the programme was!! :D Sally x |
This is such a funny thread. I can't park worth a crap and openly admit it. My garage has a line down the middle made with duct tape so I will stay on my own side and I have a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling so I know where to stop. I literally pull into the garage and open the driver door to make sure I am on my side. However I will say that the last time I got a ticket was in 89 for not wearing a seatbelt, and the Mr. is, let's just say a lead foot driver. |
LOL! I have to say she sounds like me! My hubby would be venting too, but he's always a good sport about it. And since you do listen to all of us vent, I think you derserve to get to vent too. Us women do have our faults, but we can get out of almost anything with a smile!...or atleast that is how it is in our house. If I'm really in trouble, I hold Katie Scarlett up to my face and we both give Daddy 'the look' and we are forgiven! :) |
I was able to ruin my husband’s truck without even driving it! Hubby has a truck he loves to dead and had just taken it in for a really nice paint job that made it look like new. I had purchased paint stripper that came with a free spray bottle, about a year before, when I was doing some refinishing, but I guess you aren't supposed to store the stripper in the plastic bottle. Anyway, it exploded and went down the side of my husband’s freshly painted truck. He could have cried, why couldn’t this have happened a month before? The stripper had been in the garage for over a year, and has to explode on his freshly painted truck. Anyhow, he forgave me, had the truck repaired, but now I can’t yell at him if/when he ruins anything I love. |
