| I just love this weather We often talk about the bad weather we are having so I wanted to do a thread about the good weather we are having. It has been unseasonable warm here and I cant remember the last November where Ive been able to go sit outside in my back yard and enjoy fall as much as this year. I just love fall and this year we put in a pond in our backyard and its been nice to enjoy it. I hope this is a sign that we will have a mild winter. It would be nice

| What a fantastic topic! The weather here has been incredible - and the fall leaf color is better than I ever remember it being. |

| Our early snow has cleared and it has been beautiful the past couple of days here. The leaves are beautiful! Love this time of year! We are actually in the mid 60s here.

| We too have had a wonderful fall. Gone are the 100-plus degree days and hot nights and now most days(yesterday was pretty humid) are cool and sunny with very cool nights, just right for good sleeping. The leaves are changing and the weather is just right for living. I'm only occasionally hearing the heat run sometimes at night. I love the fall!

| We have crazy strong winds in mid-Michigan this evening....sounds like my roof is gonna blow off! And lets not even talk about the leaves I rakes up towards the firepit the other day....that are now once again scattered all over my backyard.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | THANK YOU for this thread . I live in Phoenix, AZ - where it's 8 Billion degrees in the summer, plus Monsoon season. It is *finally* just getting gorgeous here -- around 70 degrees and beauteous. It puts me in such a better mood.

| Well, I griped about the wind kicking up and blowing my leaves all over the place and now I'm so glad the wind kicked up when it did! My neighbors HUGE willow tree overhangs the turn-around in my driveway. A giant limb broke off with all this wind and landed right where my son parks his jeep when he's home and he is driving home, as I'm typing, from college to fly out for a funeral tomorrow. Just a few hours from now his Jeep would have been parked right where the giant limb fell. Thank you Mother Nature for acting up when you did!

| We've had an AWESOME few days too. PERFECT Fall weather. It's been 60-65 degrees-ish... not humid, not too cold, little breeze, not too much wind. It's been really nice!

| Well, I'll be the Debbie downer . . .lol . . .the last couple days have been a bit too warm for typical Fall weather . . .I like the crisp air . . .right now it feels like Spring and I have to say our color was not spectacular this year . . .the maples are all empty now and their normal Fall color was not pretty at all . . .I look forward to Fall all year long and so far it's been a disappointment .. the Oaks are just starting to turn their colors finally and between Irene and our freak snow storm it's been really odd here . . .this morning there was so much fog it was hard to see driving to work . . .I don't know what is happening with mother nature, but OMG I just want to get to normal . .. lol

| The weather was awesome here today, too. A little chilly in the morning as I left, but it warmed up to about 70. Took the little guy out for a nice walk. I normally prefer summer weather, but today was nice.

| It was actually warm enough in the house today that I turned on the air conditioner. I was hot. It is so lovely outside. I just cant get over how nice it is for this time of year, Im glad others are having nice weather too. It puts me in a good mood and makes me thankful. Im sure we will get our cold and wintery weather as normal but maybe we will have a little less of it this year which would be nice. Its not unusual for us to get some snow flakes in November so that is why I am appreciating this warm weather. Im also happy because I found my turtle in the pond and brought him in the aquarium for the winter so he is warm and safe for the winter. He is very hard to find so I was happy to find him. I hope everyone continues to have a nice fall and a mild winter
